Fatty Acids from the Seed Fats of Paint Tree

Abstract:Fatty acids was determined from paint oil (paint tree seed fat, Toxicodendron vernicifluum oil) in Nujiang of Yunnan Province by GC-MS. Five components were characterized as palmic acid, oleic acid, stearic acid, arachidic acid and eicosanebionic acid, with the highest content of palmic acid as 76.9%.
