Abstract:The seed plants have been collected and classified in Tanzhangxia scenic and historic interest area of Chongqing .The flora distribution types at the level of family and genera have been studied .The results show that the flora are considerably rich ,including 996 species ,w hich belonged to 137 families and 538 fenera .T here are 10 distribution types of family and 15distribution types of genera .T he dominant family and genera are prominent .T he origin of its flora is very ancient .T he characteristics of distribution types of family took on obvious tropical nature ,however ,the genera owned temperate nature .Many sbutypes and interrupt distribution types showed obvious transitional character .The endemic genera and species are abundant ,so it ow ned highly value and should be paid more attention to protect them .
