Abstract:Objective Explore the reason of university students’ athletic injury to guide students’ physical training correctly and reduce or prevent sports from damaging. Method A total of 1105 undergratuates in peking University have been statistiacally analysed about kinetic wounds, which of nascence attribute、site and correlative sports-item. Results In these sorts of kinetic wouds, of these soft tissue wound-rate is higher than another, it is 89 per cent in all of these. wounded part mainly distributed in ankle, foot, knee, and respectively reach to 23.0%, 19.6% and 16.0%. the major wounds come from these ball games (football、basketball、volleyball), which is 67.5 per cent. Concusion The joint part of upper and lower limbs and soft tissue are easily injured for the university students, the article analyse the wound reasons, and offer some pieces of advise about how to protect against the kinetic wound.

Abstract:Objectives: In recent years, the status of sports in teaching activities has been continuously improved, and various schools have also increased the intensity of sports activities. In order to avoid sports injuries, enhance students’ physical fitness, and improve the quality of physical education and training, it is necessary to strengthen the responsibility of physical education teachers. Heart, improve their professional knowledge and skills, in-depth understanding of the characteristics of sports injuries, find out the cause of injury, strengthen prevention awareness, master how to treat in time, in order to improve the classroom effectiveness of physical education classes, to achieve better teaching and training results. Methods: After the injury occurs, the teacher should deal with it in time and further treat it afterwards, so as to alleviate the pain of the injured athletes and prevent complications. Results: It is a very serious problem that students are often injured in sports meeting, because injuries not only delay their participation in physical exercise, but also affect their normal study and life. Conclusion: Understanding the causes, occurrence rules, preventive measures and timely treatment of sports injuries can not only effectively achieve treatment and prevention, but also provide a basis for scientific participation in physical exercise or sports training.

Epidemiological Analysis of Injury Among Chinese College Students

Abstract:Objective To analyze the present epidemiological situation of injuries among Chinese college students and to provide basis for injuries prevention and control.Methods Stratified cluster sampling was used to select 47 541 college students in 27 provinces and cities of China and an anonymous questionnaire survey was conducted.Results The incidence of injuries of college students was 12.3%,15.4% for male and 9.8 for female.Sprain and fall were the main causes of injuries and the most common types of body damage were bone-joint injuries and cut.Most injury incidents happened in school.Injuries epidemiology was different with sex,grade and school type.Conclusion College students are high-risk population for injury and the burden of injury is serious.More active measures for prevention and control should be carried out.
Prevalence and Behavioural Associations of Unintentional Injuries among Chinese College Students: a 50-University Population-Based Study

Abstract:Objective To assess the prevalence, demographic characteristics and behavioural correlates of unintentional injuries among Chinese college students. Methods A cross-sectional multistage survey sampling process was conducted among 11770 undergraduates from 50 universities in China. Students were asked to report different types of unintentional injuries that required medical attention from a doctor over the past year. The (2) test and multiple logistic regression analysis were used to identify factors associated with these injuries. Results The overall unintentional injury prevalence was 47.9% (95% CI 47.6% to 48.2%). Most injuries occurred at sport venues (24.0%), following by home/dormitory injuries (20.5%) and traffic injuries (13.0%). Some behavioural factors exhibiting significant associations with overall unintentional injuries were: sleeping less than 7hours (OR=1.32, 95%CI 1.27 to 1.37), smoking (OR=1.28, 95%CI 1.23 to 1.32), alcohol consumption (OR=1.74, 95%CI 1.69 to 1.78) and heavy internet use (OR=1.60, 95%CI 1.52 to 1.67). Male students were more likely to be involved in traffic and sport injuries than female students. Students majoring in non-medical fields had a higher risk of sport and home injuries than students majoring in medical fields. Those who drank alcohol, slept less than 7hours or who reported heavy internet use were more likely to experience all types of injuries than students who did not participate in these behaviours. Finally, students who smoked had a higher likelihood of traffic and sport injuries than non-smoking students. Conclusions A substantial number of college students reported injuries in the past year, and several key behavioural factors were associated with injuries. These findings could be beneficial for the design, implementation and assessment of injury intervention programme with college students. Based on these findings, policy implications for unintentional injury prevention and control were also considered.

Abstract:As a favorite sport of teachers and students, long-distance running can enhance physical fitness. However, due to nonstandard movements in sports, teachers and students get injured psysically. Taking the prevention of long-distance running injuries of teachers and students in colleges and universities as the research goal, this article investigates the teachers and students of a physical education college in Shanxi Province by means of questionnaire survey, counts the functional indexes of teachers and students in long-distance running for one year and analyzes the injuries. The results show that the injury rate of teachers and students is 45.5%; Teachers and students with only one injury are the most, and knee injuries are the most common, with a mild injury rate of 60.98% and concentrated in November-December and June-July. The main reasons for the injuries of teachers and students are poor physical fitness, insufficient warm-up, and poor sports equipment. Through full warm-up exercise and adequate rest, common injuries in long-distance running can be effectively prevented.

This paper takes 31 athletes of the aerobics team of China West Normal University as the research object, and comprehensively adopts the research methods of questionnaire survey, literature data and mathematical statistics to study the sports injury of competitive aerobics athletes of this university. Abstract:Based on the theme of sports risk prevention and control in colleges and universities, the connotation and classification of sports risk in colleges and universities are recognized and screened, the theoretical basis of sports risk prevention and control in colleges and universities is interpreted, and the needs of sports risk prevention and control in colleges and universities are analyzed. On the basis of questionnaire and expert interview, the analytic method is used to construct the evaluation index system of sports risk prevention and control in colleges and universities, including 5 first-level indexes, 9 second-level indexes, and 27 third-level indexes in colleges and universities, teachers, students, parents, and communities, in order to find out the characteristics and occurrence rules of sports risk in colleges and universities in Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan, Hunan Province. We find out the loopholes and shortcomings in the risk management of sports in colleges and universities and provide theoretical reference for reducing the risk of sports in colleges and universities in the region and improving students' physical quality.

Abstract:ABSTRACT Introduction: College students often suffer from injuries in school sports activities. These injuries negatively influence the intellectual and motor learning curve. Thus, it is necessary to investigate and study the sports injuries of college students, their characteristics, and what are the most effective measures to reduce the occurrence of these complications. Objective: Develop an analytical model to verify the causes and solutions in the main injuries in student sports training. Method: The research used a self-administered questionnaire to obtain information about students’ sports injuries. A random number was assigned to each class of each grade in the stratified group sampling method. Classification of causes was done according to the size of the random numbers found. Results: A total of 984 valid questionnaires were obtained (516 male). The injury rate was 53.9%. In all, 278 men and 167 women reported injuries, the injury rate was 35.7%. The injury rate in males in all grades was significantly higher. Conclusion: The results suggest that student awareness work on injury prevention is needed to reduce the incidence of sports complications. Physical education classes can strengthen technical guidance, improve awareness and mindfulness skills in students. It can also help them decrease the psychological stress of exercise, promoting the development of physical and mental health. Evidence Level II; Therapeutic Studies – Investigating the results.

Abstract:By the requirements of the Ministry of Education on life safety education, colleges, and universities have set up a course on Sports Injury and First Aid to organize relevant knowledge and increase the student’s awareness of first aid knowledge so that they can use reasonable methods to address sport-related injuries. At the same time, they can cope with first-aid situations and assist rescuers in completing resuscitation activities. This paper is based on the study of three colleges in Chongqing. This paper selected students from 3 universities in Chongqing and evaluated the mastery of first aid knowledge of college students, pointing out the value of implementing the “Sports Injury and First Aid” course in colleges and universities. This can provide opportunities to improve the theoretical content of the discipline, actively carry out practical activities, reasonably set the assessment method, and provide basic protection to ensure that the “Sports Injury and First Aid” course can be carried out normally to improve the mastery level of students’ first aid knowledge.
Analysis on sports injuries of adolescents in ShangHai

Abstract:Objective To know the status of adolescent sports injuries and to provide evidence for injuries prevention of adolescent.Methods A total of 4 334 students from 11 junior high schools and 9 senior high schools were selected by use of stratified cluster sampling.Data of sports injuries in the past year were collected through filling the self-administered questionnaire.Results It showed that 5.61% adolescents had sports injuries in the past year,among which boys had more injuries than girls(P<0.05).Totally 364 injury events occurred,the injury rate was 8.49%.The injury occurred more in spring and autumn.The sports injuries occurred mainly in the afternoon(46.58%)and when they played basketball(45.86%).The top three reason of sports injuries were lack of concentration(24.46%),exercise overload(17.12%),insufficient preparation(14.13%).About 29.69% injuries located in ankle of lower limbs and 20.73% in fingers/elbow/wrist,in the knee of lower extremity(12.89%).About 75.96% of sports injuries was slightly limited and significantly limited joint activities.Conclusion It is very necessary to carry out synthetical intervention measures to decrease the rate of sports injuries among adolescents based on school.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To study the incidence of injury among middle school students in 2010,and to provide evidence for the preventive measures.METHODS Data about students' injury of 29 middle schools in Huangpu District were collected.RESULTS The incidence of student injury was 0.63%,and in details,the prevalence gender ratio(boys vs.girls)was 2.99:1.The campus was the main place of injury occurrence(56.6%).There were significant differences in injured area and nature of injury between junior middle school students and senior middle school students(P0.05),while no significant difference in activities students were performing and injury types.The leading three activities when injury happened were recreation activities(49.4%),sports activities(26.2%),and activities of daily living(18.5%).The main types of injury were falls(59.5%)and collision(19.0%).CONCLUSION Enhance school safety education,improve parental attention degree,different safety education,and preventative measures should be taken according to the difference between school types and genders.

Abstract:ABSTRACT Introduction: Kungfu is a traditional Chinese sports activity, and many optional courses are offered in many universities. However, during kung fu practice, sports injuries can be caused. Objective: Investigate the most common types of sports injuries caused by kung fu practice and present intervention countermeasures. Methods: A total of 612 college students practicing kung fu at 5 universities were investigated, and a 12-week follow-up survey was conducted to collect data on the types, causes, and injury grades of their sports injuries. According to the survey results, reasonable prevention and intervention measures were formulated to ensure the safety of kung fu practice. Results: The sports injuries caused by kung fu practice mainly occurred at the waist, knees, and ankles, and the types of sports injuries were mainly by ligament strain, which was mainly caused by improper preparation, poor physical functioning, and mental state, incorrect technical movements, etc. Conclusion: Kung fu practice can improve the physical health of college students, but it can also lead to sports injuries, especially to the pelvic girdle, knees, and ankles. Strict preventive measures should be taken to prevent sports injuries from affecting the physical health of college students. Abstract:ABSTRACT Introduction: Basketball is a combative sport, very popular among college students. However, it requires many periods of running, interspersed with emergency breaks, tackling, and other actions prone to ankle injuries. Objective: Investigate the causes of ankle joint injuries in college basketball, raising countermeasures to prevent these sports injuries. Methods: 413 college students who regularly participate in basketball games at 10 colleges and universities were selected as research objects. The causes of ankle joint injuries in the process of this sport were investigated through questionnaires, and the main causes of injuries were analyzed using statistical methods. Results: The causes of ankle joint injuries in college basketball include subjective and objective factors. Subjective factors include inadequate psychological preparation, warm-up exercise, cushioning, and excessive exercise, among others listed; objective factors mainly contemplate local injury and accidental injury. Conclusion: The participation of college students in basketball is beneficial to improve their physical health, requiring effective measures to prevent possible ankle injuries, both related to subjective and objective aspects. Abstract:ABSTRACT Introduction: Outdoor sports are a recreational sports, and mountaineering and hiking are the basic forms of this sport. Occasionally there are injuries in the practice of this activity that can damage the health of its practitioners, in addition to bringing adverse effects to the daily work environment. Objective: Provide relevant protection measures to prevent physical injuries caused to outdoor sports practitioners. Methods: Volunteer exercisers participated in a questionnaire survey that collected the location of sports injuries and the causes of these injuries. On this information, statistics were processed considering the location of the injuries and their causes. Protective measures were based on the updated scientific literature. Results: The most injured body parts in outdoor sports are ankle joints, knee joints, and skin tissue contusions. The main reason for these injuries is the lack of awareness of protection by the athletes. Conclusion: Attention to preparation activities before outdoor sports and organization in the exercise load are the main factors for preventing physical injuries in outdoor sports practitioners. Abstract:Based on the investigation of basketball sports injury of the students in University, the questionnaire was collected, and the location and incidence rate of students in basketball were: finger(26.42%),ankle joint(22.54%),knee joint(11.92%),wrist(10.10%) and back(8.81%).The cause and incidence of damage are: to prepare activities(30.9%),to break the rules(25.13%), the technical error (19.43%),and the site(13.47%).Through literature review, interview method, mathematical statistics method, logical analysis method, the conclusion is that college students in basketball sports injury, because they do not seriously do the preparatory activities, technical differences, poor thinking, self-protection awareness, etc. Finally, some suggestions are put forward to reduce the student injury in basketball.
