MICROWAVE- INDUCED RAPID SYNTHESIS OF HIGH＝ GRADE LUBRICATING OILS

Abstract:With microwave irradiation, the esters of high-grade lubricating oils were synthesized. As compared with the conventional synthesis method, the new method greatly shortened the reaction time, with a 10 to 15 times greater reaction velocity. The yield rate of [CH_3(CH_2)_6 COOOH_2]_3CCH_2CH_3,[CH_3(CH_2)_7COOH_2]_3CCH_2CH_3,[CH_3(CH_2)_6COOCH_2]_4C and [CH_3(CH_2)_7COOOCH_2]_4C increased by 10 to 22%.
