Conservation of Biodiversity in the Honghe National Nature Reserve

Abstract:The Honghe National Nature Reserve (Honghe NNR) is rich in species diversity and there are 164 families, 423 genera and 938 species of wild higher plants and 71 families, 284 species of vertebrate, in which 6 species are rare and endangered plants and 51 species are national protection animals. There are a satisfactory variety of ecosystems, and most of the species in the region are resource plants or animals. Although the biodiversity of Honghe NNR is rich and important, it is suffer from human disturbance. They were pointed out that the main problems threatening the biodiversity. Then some measures were put forward for protesting it.
