Abstract:Objective To detect the survival,migration and dissemination of tetracycline resistance genes( tetC) in different soil samples. Methods Tested presence of tetracycline resistance gene( tetC) and resistant strains in different soil samples,including historic campus,park and swine feedlot. Results Tetracycline resistance gene( tetC) and resistant strains were found in the soil 5 m,50 m and 200 m far from the septic tank,while tetracycline resistance gene or resistant strains had not been detected in high school campus,park and the soil 500 m away from the septic tank. Conclusion This work show that the presence of antibiotic resistance gene was closely related to the use of antibiotics. This work surveyed the existence of tetC genes and organisms,suggesting that using antibiotics wisely and carefully is necessary for decreasing the ecological risk of antibiotic resistance genes.
