Abstract:In this paper, a new kind of random fuzzy number integral is introduced by the Pettis-Aumann integral of the set-valued functions in Banach spaces. The existence of the random fuzzy integral is also shown. Levi's convergence theorem of the integral is given a special mention.

Abstract:Let (X, tau(1)) and (Y, tau(2)) be two Hausdorff locally convex spaces with continuous duals X, and Y', respectively, L (X, Y) be the space of all continuous linear operators from X into Y, K (X, Y) be the space of all compact operators of L (X, Y). Let WOT and UOT be the weak operator topology and uniform operator topology on K (X, Y), respectively. In this paper, we characterize a full-invariant property of K (X, Y); that is, if the sequence space X has the signed-weak gliding hump property, then each; lambda-multiplier WOT-convergent series Sigma(i) T-i in K(X, Y) must be X-multiplier convergent with respect to all topologies between WOT and UOT if and only if each continuous linear operator T: (X, tau(1)) --> or (lambda(beta), sigma(lambda(beta),lambda)) is compact. Abstract:In this paper, we provide some sufficient conditions for Pettis integrability of operator valued functions that take values in ideals of compact operators on the separable Hilbert space. Additionally, we show that, in general, these conditions do not imply Bochner integrability.

Abstract:We focus on measurability and integrability for set valued functions in non-necessarily separable Fréchet spaces. We prove some properties concerning the equivalence between different classes of measurable multifunctions. We also provide useful characterizations of Pettis set-valued integrability in the announced framework. Finally, we indicate applications to Volterra integral inclusions.

Abstract:Integral properties of multifunctions with closed convex values are studied. In this more general framework not all the tools and the technique used for weakly compact convex valued multifunctions work. We pay particular attention to the "positive multifunctions". Among them an investigation of multifunctions determined by vector-valued functions is presented. Finally, decomposition results are obtained for scalarly and gauge-defined integrals of multifunctions and a full description of McShane integrability in terms of Henstock and Pettis integrability is given.

Abstract:Let $\nu$ be a countably additive vector measure defined on a $\sigma$-algebra and taking values in a Banach space. In this paper we deal with the following three properties for the Banach lattice $L_1(\nu)$ of all $\nu$-integrable real-valued functions: the Dunford-Pettis property, the positive Schur property and being lattice-isomorphic to an AL-space. We give new results and we also provide alternative proofs of some already known ones.

Abstract:Let ℳ be a semifinite von Neumann algebra. We show that an operator T from the predual L_1(ℳ,τ ) of ℳ into a Banach space X is strongly Dunford–Pettis if and only if T∘ i: L_1(ℳ,τ ) ∩ℳ→ _i L_1(ℳ,τ ) → _T X is compact. We also show that for a finite measure space (A,Σ ,ν ) and a reflexive Banach space X , a linear bounded operator T:L_1(ν ,X)→ c_0 is a Dunford–Pettis operator if and only if T is a dominated operator. We also prove that all bounded operators T from L_p(0,1) into the Schatten–von Neumann r -class C_r are necessarily narrow whenever 1≤ p<2 , 1≤ r≤ p , which answers a question raised in Huang et al. (Mediterr. J Math 19, 2022). Finally, we show that for a reflexive Banach space X all Dunford–Pettis operators from T:L_1(ν ,X)→ c_0 are narrow.

Abstract:$L\sp{p}$ space is a crucial aspect of classical measure theory. For nonadditive measure, it is known that $L\sp{p}$ space theory holds for the Choquet integral whenever the monotone measure $\mu$ is submodular and continuous from below. The main purpose of this paper is to generalize $L\sp{p}$ space theory to $+,\cdot$-based pan-integral. Let $(X, {\cal A}, \mu)$ be a monotone measure space. We prove that the $+,\cdot$-based pan-integral is additive with respect to integrands if $\mu$ is subadditive. Then we introduce the pan-integral for real-valued functions(not necessarily nonnegative), and prove that this integral possesses linearity if $\mu$ is subadditive. By using the linearity of pan-integral, we finally show that all of the pan-integrable functions form a Banach space. Since the $+,\cdot$-based pan-integral coincides with the concave integral for subadditive measure, the results obtained in this paper remain valid for the concave integral. Noticing that an outer measure is subadditive, we can define a Lebesgue-like integral(possesses linearity) from an outer measure, and the $L\sp{p}$ theory holds for this integral. {\it Keywords:} Monotone measure; Subadditivity; Pan-integral; Linearity; Pan-integrable space; Completeness

Abstract:A set of all symmetric Banach function spaces defined on [0,1] is equipped with the partial order by the relation of continuous inclusion. Properties of symmetric spaces, which do not depend of their position in the ordered structure, are studied. With the help of the J. Peetre's interpolation scheme it is shown that for any pair of symmetric spaces E, F such that F is absolutely continuously included in E there exists an intermediate (so called, Peetre's) space K(E,F;W), where W is a space with an unconditional basis, that is reflexive or, respectively, weakly sequentially complete provided W also is reflexive or, respectively, weakly sequentially complete.

Abstract:In this paper, we present the definitions of fractional integrals and fractional derivatives of a Pettis integrable function with respect to another function. This concept follows the idea of Stieltjes-type operators and should allow us to study fractional integrals using methods known from measure differential equations in abstract spaces. We will show that some of the well-known properties of fractional calculus for the space of Lebesgue integrable functions also hold true in abstract function spaces. In particular, we prove a general Goebel–Rzymowski lemma for the De Blasi measure of weak noncompactness and our fractional integrals.

Abstract:In 1953, Grothendieck introduced and studied the Dunford--Pettis property (the $DP$ property) and the strict Dunford--Pettis property (the strict $DP$ property). The $DP$ property of order $p\in[1,\infty]$ for Banach spaces was introduced by Castillo and Sanchez in 1993. Being motivated by these notions, for $p,q\in[1,\infty]$, we define the strict Dunford--Pettis property of order $p$ (the strict $DP_p$ property) and the sequential Dunford--Pettis property of order $(p,q)$ (the sequential $DP_{(p,q)}$ property). We show that a locally convex space (lcs) $E$ has the $DP$ property iff the space $E$ endowed with the Grothendieck topology $\tau_{\Sigma'}$ has the weak Glicksberg property, and $E$ has the strict $DP_p$ property iff the space $(E,\tau_{\Sigma'}) $ has the $p$-Schur property. We also characterize lcs with the sequential $DP_{(p,q)}$ property. Some permanent properties and relationships between Dunford--Pettis type properties are studied. Numerous (counter)examples are given. In particular, we give the first example of an lcs with the strict $DP$ property but without the $DP$ property and show that the completion of even normed spaces with the $DP$ property may not have the $DP$ property.

Abstract:A Banach space is said to have the Lebesgue property if every Riemann-integrable function $f:[0,1]\to X$ is Lebesgue almost everywhere continuous. We give a characterization of the Lebesgue property in terms of a new sequential asymptotic structure that is strictly between the notions of spreading and asymptotic models. We also reproduce an apparently lost theorem of Pelczynski and da Rocha Filho that a subspace $X\subset L_{1}[0,1]$ has the Lebesgue property if every spreading model of $X$ is equivalent to the unit vector basis of $\ell_{1}$.

Abstract:We fully characterize the class of von Neumann algebras M (on a separable Hilbert space) such that any non-Dunford- Pettis operator on the predual M* fixes a copy of circle plus(l1)(l(2)), which extends results due to Bourgain [9] and Rosenthal [49]. We also fully characterize those noncommutative symmetric spaces affiliated with different types of von Neumann algebras, which have the Dunford-Pettis property. This extends earlier results for the special cases (e.g., for symmetric function spaces, and von Neumann algebras and their preduals), by Bunce [11], by Chu and Iochum [15], and by Kaminska and Mastylo [36]. Abstract:We show that, in some cases, the projective and the injective tensor products of two Banach spaces do not have the Dunford-Pettis property (DPP). As a consequence, we obtain that $(c_0\hat{\otimes}_\pi c_0)^{**}$ fails the DPP. Since $(c_0\hat{\otimes}_\pi c_0)^{*}$ does enjoy it, this provides a new space with the DPP whose dual fails to have it. We also prove that, if $E$ and $F$ are ${\mathscr L}_1$-spaces, then $E\hat{\otimes}_\epsilon F$ has the DPP if and only if both $E$ and $F$ have the Schur property. Other results and examples are given.
