Abstract:In this paper, an adaptive network bandwidth management mechanism is proposed, which is used to allocate and adjust the bandwidth of each node according to current network bandwidth, scale of group, and QoS requirements. Firstly a MCU-centralized multipoint group communication model is introduced, and then some bandwidth management strategies are suggested. Based on the analysis of the bandwidth usages during group communication, the mechanism is described in detail. Finally anapplication example and conclusion are given.
