Abstract:This paper focuses on the development of a wireless surveillance industrial terminal,based on GPRS/CDMA communication channels,which can collect images and data of industrial processes remotely through network. In addition,using embedded real-time operating system Linux,the surveillance terminal can do management such as collecting,coding,storage,query and uploading with high reliability and feasibility.The successful application results of circumstance protection field show that the surveillance terminal is stable and reliable.

Abstract:With the development of society, embedded products have been applied in all walks of life. According to the investigation of most embedded Windows CE data acquisition system, data transmission and storage management are not very good. In this paper we show how the USB interface and SQLite can be used to solve these problems. Using USB bus for data transfer, we can realize HID devices loaded dynamically and avoid writing redundant complicated USB drive. Using embedded database SQLite for data storage, the storage structure is more clear and easier to be managed. But Nandflash is limited to the number of reading and writing, so we put forward "two levels storage" concept of data storage structure based on the WinCE file system. Practice has shown that the USB and SQLite technology can be better to solve the data transfer and storage management issues.

Abstract:The demand for communications anywhere, anytime, and on any device without recording the date is growing with the development of modern information technologies. Current wireless communications enable people to freely exchange information, while web services provide loosely-coupled, language-neutral, and platform-independent ways of linking applications within organizations, across enterprises, and across the Internet. This paper describes a mobile information system for police service, which integrates wireless communication technologies and web service technologies. The system satisfies the special demands of police information systems, such as security and interoperability. Policemen in the system can use various kinds of mobile terminals, such as mobile phones, tablet PCs, personal digital assistants, and laptops equipped with wireless LAN or GPRS to access data in the central database. The system is based on web services with a secure web service architecture and simple object access protocol message passing.

Abstract:Prison centralized alarming system (PCAS) is a very important part of prison digital monitoring system (PDMS). How to collect all those alarm information generated from the alarm objects within the scope of prison and submit to PDMS is the key problem to be solved urgently. Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) can incorporate miscellaneous prison alarm information and send the fused data to PCAS with the aid of flexible deployment, while it is not that convenient for wire transmission mode to finish the tough job. Combined with multi-level video surveillance, PCAS can not only demonstrate prison alarm information real time but also improve the efficiency and security of prison management greatly. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

Abstract:Palmprint recognition is an efficient method to identify a person. The small size of palmpdnt identification equipment will facilitate applications and extend application scope. This paper implements a practical schema of the palmprint identification system based on ARM and WinCE. The ARM processor acquires the palm image from a digital camera, extracts the features from the palm image and matches the feature with corresponding template in the database, finally gives out the identification result. Experimentations proved that the proposed system could identify palmprints with high accuracy. Fur-thermore, the proposed algorithm is invariant to image translation and rotation, and is partially invariant to affine distortion,image scale, changes in 3D viewpoint and illumination. The palmprint could be captured in contactless manner and does not need any fixing facility, which is much friendly to the users. Besides, the proposed system has the merits of small size,cost-effective and low-power, which are appropriate to be adopted in power and cost sensitive civilian applications.

Abstract:A palm-sized personal computer (PPC) based field information fast collection system was designed for the purpose of acquiring and analyzing field information effectively. Compared with desktop PC, the operation system of this system (Windows CE) is greatly different in many aspects. So some key technologies was analyzed and debated. They are geographic information system (GIS), spatial accessing methods, database technology on Windows CE, sampling control plan, a special buffer analysis method and etc. Considering the particularity of farms, an object-oriented farm model was put forward. As a real-time system, the system can be used with Global Positioning System (GPS) and kinds of sensors to acquire and analyze field information instantly. Abstract:To quickly and effectively acquire and analyze field information, a palm-sized personal computer (PPC) based field information fast collection and real-time processing system was designed. Compared with desktop computer, the operation system, windows CE, this one has brought great difference in system development and design due to its hardware. So, the difference of key technologies of the system was analysed and debated. These key technologies includes geographic information system (GIS), spatial accessing methods, database technology on windows CE, sampling control plan, and etc. Considering the particularity of farms, an object-oriented farm model was proposed to describe farm objects properly, edit sampling plan conveniently and do sampling control easily. As a kind of real- time system, the system can be used with global positioning system (GPS) and kinds of sensors to acquire and analyse field information instantly. The precision test of two GPS receivers (Agl32 and Map330) was finished by the system. The result of experiment validated higher accuracy and stability of Agl32. So Agl32 is more suitable to be used in precision farming. The experiment process and result also indicated strong practicality of the system.

Abstract:Based on the traditional TCP/IP and GPRS,this paper introduce a kind of remote-controlled embedded image acquisition system with ARM9 core.Through the embedded operating system platform of Windows CE 5.0,it can meet user-friendly operation and low cost requirements.The experimental results show that it has such characteristics as high real-time,multitasking tasking,good user interface and short development cycle.And by using Internet and GPRS,the system has more applicability and control range.It has better application in Internet of Things and the field of intelligent home controls.

Abstract:This paper introduces the design and achievement of a wireless detection system which can speedy read the traffic violation information of the vehicle recorder.With the integration of GPS chip and GPRS chip in hardware,this system realizes the new functions of the recorder:real-time location and data upload wirelessly.And for the specially designed web-database,it can excellently receive and storage the detailed information from vehicle recorder through GPRS.In the same way the database can receive data retrieval requests from handhold terminal of the police,and return the violation information.Test results indicate that with the assistance of the system,the traffic police can quickly get accurate information about the illegal behaviors even in long distance.It offers a great help in restraining traffic violation promptly,and preventing traffic incidents.

Abstract:In order to achieve the optimization of traffic polices resource and flat conductor, this paper proposed idea of architecture and functional design about wireless dispatching system of traffic police resources. And it is modeling on traffic polices' individual microscopic behavior by state automata method. It can show macro-quantitative analysis and real-time status about the work of traffic polices on duty. It constructed the optimal selection strategy on disposal of police resources under emergency by genetic algorithm which achieved the optimal scheduling of police resource. Through the running of this system in Beijing Traffic Management Command Center, it proved that both the design of this system and processing method is reasonable.

Abstract:This paper designs a security system for warehouse's security. Based on linux and S3C2440, this system's peripheral devices include temperature sensors, humidity sensors, cameras, web clients, Android clients, fans, and led. It uses the temperature sensor to monitor the temperature and fire, uses camera to real-time monitor whether there are unsafe factors. If the system detects that the room temperature is too high or too low, it will automatically alarm the security staff and automatically open the fan. Through the camera real-time monitoring, the security staff might be suspicious persons or has unexpected events in the warehouse. The video surveillance also will capture real-time video data and transfer data to Android client, then security personnel will control the security information whenever and wherever if they need. If the warehouse breaks out of fire, thief, accident, and so on, this system will take automatic protective measures, capture video evidence, and warn the security staff. Finally, if the warehouse has an accident, the system will reduce the damage to the lowest.

Abstract:Most existing communication technologies used for power inspection systems cannot seamlessly cover the inspection line range. Therefore, the real-time transmission of inspection information and the safety of personnel are difficult to guarantee. Based on current research on electric power inspection and the industry’s urgent need for real-time and accurate location information of inspectors, this paper designed and developed an electric power patrol and monitoring system using the Beidou satellite system in conjunction with mobile networks. The problem of patrolling information in blind areas where ground communications cannot be reached in real time is effectively solved through a seamless switching design between Beidou short messages and mobile networks. The short message broadcast and high-precision position information return of inspection personnel were also realized by applying the Beidou multi-mode data transmission module as independently developed. The system took advantage of the user and function-oriented conceptual design and the Browser/Server (B/S)-based architecture design, as well as the combination with the SpringMVC + Spring + MyBatis (SSM) to improve the quality of the development process. Some key functions, such as real-time position display, track playback, user information management, and other functions, are interactive with the implemented visual user interfaces, which fundamentally helps the power monitoring department provide remote visual supervision services. The test results of the core module showed that the system could be used as a supplement to the power inspection and supervision industry, especially for deep mountain valleys, dense forests, and other areas without stable communication signals.
