Abstract:In this information age, competition is fierce in all sectors, and the logistics industry is no exception. Numerous enterprises enjoy the great benefits brought by the advanced logistics system, and at the same time must respond to the call of the times, the sustainable development strategy and green logistics is imperative. Therefore, the establishment of a reasonable reverse logistics system is able to reduce the economic development of the ecological environment brought about by pollution, and effectively solve the rapid economic development and environmental protection issues between the special contradictions, but also appropriate to reduce the pressure on the supply of resources in the community, while easing the constraints on the contradiction of resources. The construction of low-cost, high-efficiency reverse logistics network can not only greatly enhance the efficiency of the logistics chain but also promote the synchronized and coordinated sustainable development of society, economy and environment.

Abstract:With the depletion of global resources and the deterioration of the ecological environment, the implementation of green reverse logistics management has become a necessary means. Green reverse logistics is a new type of reverse logistics that aims to improve resource utilization and protect the ecological environment. While promoting sustainable development, "green reverse logistics" also has certain social and economic significance. This paper compared the green reverse logistics system based on blockchain with the current green reverse logistics system. Taking drug recycling as an example, this paper mainly analyzed the waste rate, utilization rate, and enterprise income. The comparison results showed that the efficiency of drug recycling based on blockchain has increased by 20.1% compared with the current stage, and the waste rate has decreased by 16%. The utilization rate has increased by 14%, and corporate income has also increased by 19.5%. It is greatly indicated that green reverse logistics based on blockchain is of great significance to enterprise income and environmental protection, which also produces great social benefits.

Abstract:The environmental problems caused by excessive waste discharge are becoming more and more prominent, and how to deal with waste has become a problem that has to be done but is extremely costly. On the other hand, from a value chain perspective, waste has been focused on because of its potential value for conversion. Reverse logistics is an important means of turning waste into resources, solving environmental problems and promoting high-quality development, as well as an important reliance on enriching and improving the value chain system and further exploiting the value of products. However, the implementation of reverse logistics is a long-term, complex and dynamic process. Many factors need to be considered by the stakeholders when making decisions. With the help of the evolutionary game approach, this paper establishes a model based on the relationship between the government, enterprises (manufacturing enterprises) and logistics companies, and conducts simulation analysis to provide references for how the three parties implement or participate in reverse logistics. The results of the study show that: 1) The total amount of waste affects the evolutionary direction of enterprises' decision choices, while the conversion rate of waste has a significant impact on the evolutionary trajectory (speed) of enterprises' decision choices. 2) When the government's regulation and punishment of the implementation of reverse logistics is greater, enterprises can choose to implement outsourcing reverse logistics to transfer the risk. 3) Logistics companies give certain discounts to attract enterprises to cooperate with them, but excessive discounts have different degrees of negative impact on the normal operation of both enterprises and logistics companies.

The uncertainty characteristics of Reverse Logistics caused by the stochastic return rate, various conditions of returned products make the management of reverse logistics difficult. Updated detail modeling method on three sub problems: design of product recovery network, inventory control in reverse logistics, remanufacturing production plan and scheduling are discussed, and the related problems are sketched. At last, several future research areas are given.

Abstract:Production and consumption practices that follow the "take-make-dispose" flow have had a negative impact on the environment over time. Global waste problems are alarming for the environment. Over time, these problems will become more serious and will require special attention. In this regard, reverse and green logistics are very timely and critical areas for achieving sustainable development, as well as meeting some of the targets set out in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, the current literature on reverse logistics, green logistics and sustainability are scattered. Therefore, in this article we aim to review the state of recent literature (2018 - 2021), with a focus on applications in different industrial sectors. It was observed that although the application of reverse logistics, green logistics principles are sustainable, there are barriers to their implementation among which include lack of top management commitment, lack of strategic plan to implement reverse and green logistics activities, lack of marketing strategy for remanufactured products and secondary market. This review may be of interest to industry policy makers.

The goal of green logistics is not only to bring about profits to economic entities, satisfy customer demands and expand market occupancy but also to save resources and protect the environment.

A Study on the Optimization of Reverse Logistics Network in China's Automotive Industry: Focusing on Abandoned Cars in China

Abstract:Reverse logistics network design is a strategic level of decision-making, and the recovery process of abandoned vehicles is inseparable from the support of a complete reverse logistics network. Against the backdrop of the green economy and the circular economy, this study designed a waste vehicle reverse logistics network under two constraints: carbon tax policy and carbon transaction market policy, respectively, and established a multi-purpose mixed integer linear plan model to minimize carbon emissions and costs. In addition, using a Chinese automobile manufacturer as an example, the results of the model of maximizing economic effects (i.e., minimizing costs) and maximizing environmental effects by conducting case verification and using lingo 11.0 are as follows. First, the cost of transportation using pure electric vehicles under the same carbon emission policy is lower than using fuel cars. Second, under the two carbon policies, carbon trading policies have a better emission reduction effect and lower network operating costs. Third, we found that transactional carbon constraints help companies reduce costs and reduce carbon emissions, and help shape long-term, even image-oriented, corporate behavior. By analyzing the optimization of China's waste vehicle reverse logistics network, this study promotes the sustainable and sound development of Chinese waste vehicle recovery companies and realizes the double benefits of the economic environment. Abstract:At present, the development of third-party logistics in China in recent years, the development is very rapid, followed by a large number of pollution emissions, relevant data show that at present, China’s logistics traffic energy consumption has accounted for more than 20% of the total social energy consumption. Carbon dioxide emissions are about 770 million tons. Developing green logistics is bound to be the future trend in China’s transportation. Therefore, we take Deppon Logistics as an example to give some feasible suggestions on the green development of China’s third-party logistics in packaging, trucks, and transportation system, hoping to provide some reference value for future green logistics.

This paper focuses on the demand analysis of green packaging in logistics, and comparison, and finally proposes specific measures to develop green packaging. Through research, the development of green packaging should first pay attention to the choice of green materials, such as using recycling turnover boxes instead of cartons, electronic signatures to replace the original triple delivery slip. Secondly, the development of green packaging requires the joint efforts of all walks of society, including the government, enterprises and consumers.

Abstract:Green development is an approach to economic growth and social development that aims at efficiency, harmony, and sustainability. Going green helps improve an enterprise’s social image and reputation and creates a long-term competitive advantage. Adopting sustainable logistics practices, such as optimizing transport routes, reducing waste and energy consumption, and adopting cleaner energy sources, can reduce an enterprise’s operating costs and mitigate the risks associated with environmental pollution and resource wastage. With the rapid development of China’s logistics industry, the relationship between sustainability and company performance has become stronger and stronger, and green development has become a trend in the logistics industry. This essay takes SF as the research object through collecting, collating and analyzing relevant data, adopting empirical research methods, analyzing the aspects of warehouse management, item packaging, item transportation and item reverse logistics, and proposing optimization solutions, thus helping to provide a reference for logistics companies to upgrade their supply chains, to make them better adapt to the situation of green development, and to promote the harmonious development of the economy, the society and the environment.

Abstract:The strategic application of reverse supply chain logistics to improve the reclamation of products at the end of their useful life is gaining increased attention. The environmental implications of reclamation, reuse, and recycling to save landfill space, fuel, and costs are becoming more important for organizations. The social and ethical dimensions of sustainability, particularly as they apply to reverse logistics, are emerging topics. The focus of existing reverse logistics research has been on the economic and environmental aspects of sustainability – social sustainability has yet to be comprehensively examined. This paper focuses on addressing this gap in the literature by linking various sustainable indicators with various reverse logistics practices to develop a profile of reverse logistics for social sustainability. By compiling practical, international examples from practice and research, we have used the structure of social sustainability to highlight reverse logistics for social sustainability. Abstract:Abstract Green logistics is the part of the activities of an enterprise aimed at measuring and minimizing the impact of logistics activities on the environment. Such actions are dictated by the possibility of achieving a competitive advantage in the market, because clients require it. Transport is a particularly important area with a huge impact on the environment, because it is identified as the fastest growing source of greenhouse gas emissions. Green transport is low-emission and ecological travelling mode. The goals of green transport are not only to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, noise and space use, but also to reduce poverty and promote economic growth. Transport is considered green when it supports environmental sustainability, but also supports the other two pillars of sustainable development, i.e. economic and social. This paper discusses the application of the concept of "green" logistics and "green" technologies in transport in the transportation process. The modern requirements for transport in the field of environmental safety and compliance with environmental requirements both on the part of customers and on the part of states are considered.

Abstract:Abstract With the quickening of environmental pollution control in China, the concrete measures of “plastic limit” and “plastic ban” were put forward one after another. At the same time, the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste will be formally revised and implemented in September 2020. This fully demonstrates the importance we attach to ecological protection and sustainable development of the environment and our determination to control environmental pollution. At present, with the popularization of e-commerce, the fragmentation of consumption, the penetration of online shopping in rural areas is getting bigger and bigger, and the express delivery industry is showing explosive growth. Especially under the epidemic, consumers’ consumption behaviors and consumption patterns have changed greatly. Network consumption behavior increased significantly, carton, plastic bags and other packaging products demand increased significantly. It consumes a lot of resources, such as paper and plastic products, and also produces a lot of packaging waste. Through the analysis and comparison of several disposable plastic packaging materials in green logistics, the importance of green packaging in green logistics is discussed, which has a strong inspiration for environmental protection and the development of green logistics.

Abstract:The strategy decision of “Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality” has brought extensive and complex impact to China’s economic and social development. In order to achieve the “Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality” goal, it is significant to promote the green development of the logistics industry, a high energy-consuming industry. Combined with the industry norms and relevant policy documents of logistics industry, this study selected secondary indicators containing four aspects of finance, resource, operation and environment, and eight tertiary indicators, and constructed the evaluation indicator system of green development of logistics industry in East China. Quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of the green development of logistics industry in East China from 2015 to 2019 were conducted using entropy weighting TOPSIS method, and comprehensive performance and ranking of six provinces and one city were obtained. Results showed that Shandong Province ranked the highest in terms of the green development of logistics industry; Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province took the second and third places respectively, and Shanghai came in last. Finally, based on the in-depth analysis of empirical results, this paper provided suggestions for the green development of the logistics industry in East China.

Abstract:Aiming at the problem of insufficient recycling and recycling of vegetable wastes, under the conditions of three different on-site processing capabilities, the logistics network design scheme of vegetable waste reduction and resource utilization system was discussed. the present study discussed a quantitative model of the VW-RRS that meets comprehensive benefits based on the theory of circular economy, combined with reverse logistics theory and life cycle theory, and further designed a logistics network of VW-RRS from multi-dimensional perspectives. For the systematic VW treatment, the efficiency of the circular economy system has an obvious promotion effect. Based on the functions and interrelationships of the various participants in the system and the goal of achieving sustainable development in the three dimensions of economy, environment and society, a logistics network model of a reduced resource system has been established. Take Shouguang City as an example to optimize and reconstruct the logistics network of vegetable waste reduction in this region. The research shows that: after the vegetable waste is reduced, the total cost of the system is reduced; when the vegetable waste resource utilization capacity remains unchanged, the ratio of vegetable waste recycling is increased, and the economic and environmental benefits of the system are improved accordingly; The resource utilization capacity, the system's economic and environmental benefits have also improved accordingly.
