Nm23-H1 Gene Deletion of Cell Line Screened and Identified from Human Lung Cancer Lines

Abstract:The nm23-H 1 gene deletion was screened and ident ified from nine human lung cancer cell lines to explore the function of nm23-H 1 gene in lung cancer metastatsis.The nm23-H 1 gene of lung cancer cell lines was detected by Southern blot ,RT-PC R and Western blot,and the biologic c haracters of L9981cell lines was identified by cell culture technique and the animal experiment.A loss of heterozygosity of nm23-H 1 gene was found in L9981cell line,but not in other human lung cancer cell lines.The ability of L9981to cell prolifer-ation,clone formation and invasion were significantly higher than those in NL9980cell line.These data sug-gested that there was a close relatio nship between nm23-H 1 gene deletion and high metastatic ab ility in L9981cell line.
