Abstract:This work, Anti-Theft Alarm System using Arduino and Force Sensor offers a practical and accessible solution to the pervasive issue of theft. Utilizing readily available components like Arduino microcontrollers and force sensors makes anti-theft technology more accessible to a broader audience. The system's affordability and ease of installation make it an attractive option for homeowners, vehicle owners, business proprietors, and anyone else looking to protect their valuables. The incorporation of an Arduino microcontroller adds a significant degree of flexibility and adaptability to the system, allowing it to be customised to meet the specific needs of individual users. This versatility ensures that the system can be tailored to suit various environments and scenarios, enhancing its effectiveness in preventing theft. Furthermore, the system's ability to sound an alarm and send short message service (SMS) notifications to the owner's phone when a pre-set force threshold is exceeded enhances its utility. It ensures prompt action in the event of a potential theft attempt. By providing owners with timely alerts, the system enables them to take immediate steps to protect their possessions and prevent theft. Overall, the anti-theft alarm system using an Arduino and force sensor represents a valuable contribution to the security sector.
