Abstract:Chaos genetic algorithms are the combination of chaos and genetic algorithms. By analyzing its essence, many repetitions are found, and some improvements are made there. Through computer simulating, it indicates that the improved chaos genetic algorithms enjoy a better searching ability.

Abstract:In practice, two key problems have been found in genetic algorithm (GA), one is premature convergence and the other is weak local search ability In this paper, a new hybrid genetic algorithm based on chaos and particle swarm optimization (PSO) is proposed to solve the two problems above The basic principle is that chaotic search mechanism and PSO mutation are added into the framework of simple genetic algorithm (SGA) By comparing the experimental results from five classic benchmark functions, the proposed genetic algorithm significantly improved both global convergence and convergence precision

Abstract:In this paper, the new crossover and mutation operators based on chaotic sequence for binary and decimal code genetic algorithms are presented. A genetic algorithm embedded chaotic search also was given. The Algorithms are of benefit to perfection of some standard genetic algorithms, consequentially to develop a new idea of introducing chaos to Genetic Algorithm. It has been verified by the computer model test.

Abstract:On the basis of analyzing the major advantages and disadvantages of the chaos, genetic and simulated annealing algorithms, the chaos genetic simulated annealing hybrid algorithm is presented according to the complementary advantages strategy. The basic thought is initializing the initial population of genetic algorithm with chaos variables, and then calculating by genetic simulated annealing method, at last adding a disturbance to the chromosomes whose fitness are smaller with the chaos method. The result indicates that the algorithm has strong global searching capability and quick speed on converging to the optimal solution.

Abstract:Based on the analysis of the properties of genetic algorithm and chaos optimization algorithm, a new genetic chaos optimization combination algorithm is presented. The method not only solves the invalidation problem of chaos optimization algorithm in a large scale, but also increases the ability of local search and search precision. Then, the convergence of the algorithm is proved. In the end, this algorithm is applied to six test functions' optimization problem and the simulation shows that the algorithm is effective.

Abstract:By means of the ergodic property of chaos movement, a chaos genetic algorithm (CGA) is proposed. The basic principle of CGA is that a small disturbance is added to the child generation group by using the chaos variable and the disturbance amplitude is adjusted little by little as the search goes on. The computational results indicate that the CGA has good performance and significantly improves the computational efficiency in optimization. The average truncated generations and the distribution entropy of truncated generations are used to evaluate the optimization efficiency of CGA. The optimization efficiency of CGA is evaluated quantitative. It is shown that the optimization efficiency of CGA is higher than that of genetic algorithm.

Abstract:In this paper, based on the relationship between chaos and evolution of chaotic theory, chaos is combined with a genetic algorithm. A new hybrid strategy is proposed in order to overcome the weakness of the simple genetic algorithm (SGA). The hybrid chaos GA is applied in neural networks and simulations show that the chaos GA is better than SGA in speed of searching and precision of optimization.

Abstract:To avoid premature convergence and trapping into local minimum, a chaos genetic algorithm based on population high-efficiency mutation (CGAPM) is presented. According to achievements in society and biology, small world network, characterized in clustering and small-world effect, is introduced into GA to change the mutation from randomness to directionality. The chaotic variables are considered to produced the initial population with logistic mapping and chaos disturbance is performed after small-world mutation, thus the searching efficiency and accuracy are improved. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is stabile and effective. And the optimization results in the trajectory tracking of wheeled mobile robot verify that the developed method can obtain more satisfied parameters for control system.

Abstract:Through analyzing conventional GAs, a new GAs based on annealing chaotic mutation operator was proposed. By introducing the intrinsic stochastic property and ergodicity of chaos movement and variable evolutionary rate, this algorithm can better simulate the process of biologic evolution, and possesses the better hill-climbing ability. And it employs the different operating order of operators in the different evolutionary process that can protect the known better individuals to some extent. So it overcomes the shortcoming of premature convergence and stagnation, and effectively solves the problem of global convergence. Compared with the self-adaptive GAs, this algorithm is easy to be implemented, and its efficiency is higher in the rate of convergence, accuracy and reliability, so it is effective for optimization problem.

Abstract:The theory of chaos optimization is introduced in this paper; and through improving the constringency strategy of mutative scale chaos optimization method, we can enhance the efficiency and the performance of chaos optimization method; then aiming at the trouble of easy getting into local minimum existed in quantum genetic algorithm, this paper presents a new chaos quantum genetic algorithm. Using the improved mutative scale chaos optimization method, chaotic search for the optimization is implemented to the population which is processed one time with the quantum genetic algorithm, which can lead to the rapid evolution of the population. The test of typical function shows that the performance of this method is better than quantum genetic algorithm and genetic algorithm.

Abstract:This paper presents a chaos-genetic algorithm (CGA) that combines chaos and genetic algorithms. It can be used to avoid trapping in local optima profiting from chaos' randomness, ergodicity and regularity. Its property of global asymptotical convergence has been proved with Markov chains in this paper. CGA was applied to the optimization of complex benchmark functions and artificial neural network's (ANN) training. In solving the complex benchmark functions, CGA needs less iterative number than GA and other chaotic optimization algorithms and always finds the optima of these functions. In training ANN, CGA uses less iterative number and shows strong generalization. It is proved that CGA is an efficient and convenient chaotic optimization algorithm.

Abstract:Crossover and mutation play an important role in genetic algorithm.A new improved genetic algorithm based on genetic operation is proposed.In this new algorithm,elitist model and roulette wheel selection are adopted,and genetic crossover probability is applied to control crossover.Also the crossover operator and mutation operator are improved according to Gaussian distribution.The results of the theoretic analysis and practical examples show that the new algorithm is valid and efficient.

Abstract:Although genetic algorithm has become very famous with its global searching, parallel computing,better robustness, and not needing differential information during evolution. However, it also has some demerits, such as slow convergence speed. In this paper, based on several general theorems, an improved genetic algorithm using variant chromosome length and probability of crossover and mutation is proposed, and its main idea is as follows: at the beginning of evolution, our solution with shorter length chromosome and higher probability of crossover and mutation; and at the vicinity of global optimum, with longer length chromosome and lower probability of crossover and mutation. Finally, testing with some critical functions shows that our solution can improve the convergence speed of genetic algorithm significantly, its comprehensive performance is better than that of the genetic algorithm which only reserves the best individual.

Abstract:An improved genetic algorithm for global optimization of electromagnetic field roblems isdeveloped in this paper. The reason for the slow convergence of the standard genetic algorithm is analyzed at first, then the improved genetic algorithm is proposed to expeditethe convergence. Techniques as partition of optimization process(random search stage and local optimization stage), novel criterion for new generation creation, adaptive updating of mutation probability and new stop criterion are introduced in the improved algorithm. The numeral results on a mathematical test and a practical problem both show the proposed method not only obtains better results, but also is timesaving and more robust compared with the standard genetic algorithm.

Abstract:After analyzing the evolutionary process of genetic algorithm, a new chaos genetic algorithm is presented. Based on the stochastic and ergodic property of chaos variables, the method searches the space of loci, which effectively overcomes the drawback of converging to local optimization and greatly improves the speed of searching the optimum. In the end, this algorithm is applied to the multicast routing and the results show that this algorithm can find the optimal multicast routing quickly and has good characteristics.

Abstract:The convergence and local research ability of genetic algorithm is a well concerned research field in recent years. New evolution law of species is introduced in the paper, and based on the new evolution law, compulsive operator was introduced and a new genetic algorithm - compulsive genetic algorithm (CGA) was proposed to improve the convergence of GA. CGA takes advantage of the fitness of current and past generations to create an approximation of the evolution process, identify the evolution direction and improve their evolution progress, which will accelerate the convergence of GA. Two experimental examples were computed to test the convergence and local research ability of CGA. The experimental results show that CGA is of good convergences and good local research ability.

Abstract:Aiming at the trouble of easy getting into local minimum and premature convergency existed in quantum genetic algorithm,this paper analysed the flow of QGA,improved the strategy in two sides of global searching and local searching,and presented a new algorithm.This algorithm executed global search using the chaos movement's ergodicity and randomness,in the same time optimized the renovation process of quantum with the gradient information.The test of typical function shows that the performance of this kind of method is better than quantum genetic algorithm and genetic algorithm.

Abstract:An immune chaos genetic algorithm is presented to keep population's diversity, avoid local optimum and improve performance of genetic algorithm. Immune selection is used to adjust antibody's density, and the advantage of individuals is exerted by introducing vaccination. By virtue of the over-spread character of chaos sequence, it is used to generate the pool of antibody to overcome redundancies. At the same time, searching space is enlarged by using sensitivity of chaos initial value. The result of simulation experiments shows that the algorithm has good performance in the aspects of both the convergence speed and the global optimum.
