Abstract:Efficient resource search method has significant impact on the scalability and availability of P2P network. Generally there are two search methods, pure Peer-to-Peer method and central index method. Recently, some search methods with super-peer concept are appearing, which are the compromise of those two methods and have favorable scalability and avafiability. In this paper, we compare the advantage and deficiency of these three kinds of search methods, and based on JXTA platform design the super-peer search method.

Abstract:The product test of PCB (printed circuit board), which checks the open circuit, short circuit, line cauterization and so on, is very important. It ensures the product quality and affects the cost of the PCB. A PCB test system integrates the testing point generation, testing-point linking and blueprint generation into one system. This paper deals with the design and implementation of a PCB testing system, especially the key algorithms in the implementation of the automatic testing point linking and the optimization of sequence strings' location. The algorithm of testing point linking cab improve the product quality and speedup the testing point linking process. The optimization algorithm of sequence strings' location can search the interspace of a linking graph automatically.

Abstract:The common patent management software with simple function, few internet resources and high cost cannot satisfy the domestic enterprise requirement. To fulfill Haier Group's demand, anew method using a platform by integrating patents and knowledge resource on network was proposed to perfect the patent management based on three different models of enterprise patent management: centralized, distributed, matrix. For making the decisions of technology protection strategies, experts should evaluate patents growth economic income of the technological achievement based on the content of the integrated web resources, so enterprise can choose strategies from patent application, technology publicity and technology protection according to different evaluations. Web crawling technology, algorithm of owning patent management and patent applying strategies recommending were analyzed as the key techniques, and a software platform was developed. This platform is being put into practice, which improves the strategy of technology ownership and promotes; the patent management in domestic enterprises.

Abstract:As the world's largest source of the technical information,patents have received increasing attention by the enterprise.A patent mining and analysis process is presented based on Chinese word segmentation.First,the patent information is searched,extracted,and cleaned.Then some keywords have been extracted from patent title based on Chinese word segmentation,and the patent title,abstracts,and other patent information are refined.Last,patent technology roadmaps,the association between different technologies,similar patent cluster,etc.have been mined based on the previous research.This process and method has been applied to the patent of air-conditioning industry.It helps the enterprise in the patent mapping,technical development,and implementation of patent strategy.
PatSearch: an integrated framework for patentability retrieval

Abstract:Patent retrieval primarily focuses on searching relevant legal documents with respect to a given query. Depending on the purposes of specific retrieval tasks, processes of patent retrieval may differ significantly. Given a patent application, it is challenging to determine its patentability, i.e., to decide whether a similar invention has been published. Therefore, it is more important to retrieve all possible relevant documents rather than only a small subset of patents from the top ranked results. However, patents are often lengthy and rich in technical terms. It is thus often requiring enormous human efforts to compare a given patent application with retrieved results. To this end, we propose an integrated framework, PatSearch, which automatically transforms the patent application into a reasonable and effective search query. The proposed framework first extracts representative yet distinguishable terms from a given application to generate an initial search query and then expands the query by combining content proximity with topic relevance. Further, a list of relevant patent documents will be retrieved based on the generated queries to provide enough information to assist patent analysts in making the patentability decision. Finally, a comparative summary is generated to assist patent analysts in quickly reviewing retrieved results related to the patent application. Extensive quantitative analysis and case studies on real-world patent documents demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed approach.

Abstract:Abstract With the development of informatization, the Web application system is being used by more and more enterprises and institutions. With the increase of the user group, the concurrent visits are increasing, which leads to the poor service quality of Web system. Several high-concurrency solutions existed, but they address only one aspect of the performance problem, and small and medium enterprises need to consider the cost. This paper will analyze the performance factors affecting the Web application system through multiple levels, aiming to build a Web application system with high availability, high concurrency, high expansion and less cost. Based on the factors affecting the performance of the Web application system, the project of the online mall system was optimized, and the service support of the Web application system was adjusted to make it more suitable for the system requirements. Besides, related SQL statements were optimized, Java code layer was optimized, user experience layer was optimized, and performance testing and analysis were completed.

Abstract:This paper is based on the “China Equipment and Education Resources System” project, aiming to share large equipment resources and related services nationwide. Based on the existing resource and service integration solutions, a new resource-service registry based architecture is proposed in this paper. The new architecture consists of two parts: resource registry and service registry. A service query optimization algorithm is proposed to improve the efficiency of the architecture. To validate the feasibility of the architecture, a prototype system is developed and the running effect is given.

Abstract:In order to provide a knowledge source for the innovative design of the patent-based computer-aided products, a patent topical web crawler was designed and developed targeting at the patent information of the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). In this paper, we describe the overall design and workflow of the patent topical crawler, including the basic functional architecture and key system technologies; propose the patent short text similarity calculation method based on Doc2Vec for the relevance discrimination of patent topic, which can effectively screen the required patent data. The experiment result shows that, this patent topical web crawler has high acquisition efficiency and applicability.

Abstract:With the flourish of the Web, search engine becomes one of the most popular applications on the Internet. In this paper, we analyze the design and implementation of Tianwang, which is a large-scale general Chinese search engine. Based on the principle of efficiency and effectiveness, we describe the integrated retrieval system framework and the distributed retrieval architecture of Tianwang. Then we analyze the technical details in the index creation and index retrieval, which lead to a high-performance search engine retrieval system.

Abstract:Nowadays,Web-based system has been widely used in e-commerce,search engines and Internet/intranet information portals,which keeps changing people's daily life and usage patterns of computers.One important feature of Web-based system is that it has to provide good quality of service to every visitor all the time.Therefore,how to guarantee providing good quality of services in different kinds of situations has become a popular research topic in recent years.Performance evaluation is one of the concrete approaches to know the capacity of Web-based system performance before it is normally running.The paper introduces research of Web-based system performance evaluation methods and process according to experience on several successful practical systems.Especially,the paper sums up some improvements from the actual conduct of existing performance evaluation approaches according to specific requirements.Finally,this paper introduces an application of Web-based system performance evaluation in the building of information application in Tsinghua University.

Abstract:Through the use of patent search and analysis method,the paper studies the global patent trends of nuclear power technology in the major countries,and makes a comparative analysis on nuclear power technology patents of other nuclear power countries and China in the main international nuclear power market.It is helpful to understand the present situation of the international competitiveness of China's nuclear power technology,and provide reference and specific recommendations to enhance the international competitiveness of China.The core conclusions include:In recent years China has made rapid development in the field of nuclear power technology,and the market potential is huge;China lacks enough efforts in patent application abroad of nuclear power technology;facing a tight patent layout in the world by international nuclear power giants,the development of China's nuclear power technology is being in a huge pres sure.The corresponding recommendations include:strengthening the nuclear power technology innovation;establishing the comparative analysis of nuclear power and the early warning mechanism of infringement risk;increasing the overseas patent layout of nuclear power technology;actively participating in international cooperation in the field of nuclear power technology.

Abstract:The paper firstly addresses the current situation of patent output quality in China via abundant data analysis.It indicates that China suffers from comparatively low-rate patent validity,imbalance in valid patent structure and distribution,and relatively short patent maintenance period.From the perspective of technology innovation culture,this paper intends to analyze the influence of traditional Chinese culture on patent output quality,including the influence on Chinese government's patent policies,invention patent output of enterprises,universities'patent quality and its marketing application.According to the status-quo analysis,the paper proposes some related suggestions.It's imperative to reflect on traditional culture,to reform and innovate,in order to create the advantageous cultural environment for upgrading China's patent output quality,and eventually to realize the technological and economic values of patent.

Abstract:Lucene is a full-text search engine toolkit written in Java, an object-oriented, multi-tier package that provides a low-coupling, platform-independent and full-text search engine architecture. The network programming based on streaming Socket is an effective method to design the network communication program. Based on Lucene, this paper designs and implements the Chinese search engine by using Chinese word segmentation technology. At the same time, it uses Java and PHP Socket network programming technology to realize the function of using Lucene service through PHP website.

Abstract:After entering the new century, the role of science and technology and innovation in promoting economic development has become increasingly obvious, and the Chinese government has also attached great importance to patent management. With the joint efforts of the people of the whole country, the number of patent applications in China has been among the highest in the world for many consecutive years. However, from the perspective of patent quality, there is still a certain gap with developed countries, resulting in generally low efficiency for Chinese export enterprises. Therefore, it is of great significance to explore the relationship between the quality of patents and the competitiveness of exporting enterprises. Through variance calculation, we constructed a countermeasure system for using intellectual property rights to enhance competitiveness. The experimental results show that the patent quality is proportional to the competitiveness of export enterprises, and the higher the patent quality, the stronger the competitiveness of export enterprises. The development of this study further clarifies the important value of patent quality, which helps export enterprises adjust their development strategies and effectively enhance their competitiveness.

Abstract:J2EE-based Web applications are becoming increasingly ubiquitous and with their increasing adoption, the performance is the attention focus and the most important factor of evaluating the system by users. In this paper, we present a systematic solution for performance testing and optimization of J2EE-based Web applications. The solution helps to identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the application design and ensures that systems are designed to meet their quality of service requirements. This paper firstly analyses the architecture of J2EE-based Web applications and performance testing principle, and then improves the JMeter testing framework for meeting the more concurrent users. Lastly, performance testing for J2EE-based Web applications is done; it finds performance bottlenecks and puts forward optimum measures, and compares the performance with the former one.
