Abstract:The authors analysed the current integration mechanism of CASE environment, then designed and implemented a new theory architecture of tool integration based on Toolbus. Abstract:To achieve the data exchange between heterogeneous systems introduced by interoperability, the algorithms for model mapping in STEP are presented, which provide a methodology to the integration of CAx systems based on various application protocols of STEP. A formal definition of STEP/EXPRESS data model is introduced firstly. Based on this definition, two kinds of model mapping techniques for STEP, i.e. the static mapping and the dynamic mapping, along with the implementation by using EXPRESS-X mapping language are elaborated. Finally, a typical application of this technique in the open environment is addressed. Being independent of any specified system, the model mapping techniques presented in this paper achieve transparent integration between heterogeneous systems, which reduce the cost of information integration in system development.

Abstract:Combining the method of rule based reasoning and the method of case based reasoning, a case based intelligent process planning system is developed aiming at solving the deficiency of traditional intelligent process planning system. The knowledge representation of process case is given. Strategies and algorithms are worked out to retrieve and match the most promising candidate process cases and carry out the necessary modification based on the rule based reasoning.

Abstract:The paper presents a model for CAPP (computer aided process planning) system, which integrates process data together in an open structure. The model consists of two components. The first is to construct improved class hierarchy. According to industry classification standards, process sources are abstracted and generated to form reusable and derivable classes that describe process source by inheritance, or through schema evolution. The second is to build communications among form feature, process device and process method. The model draws an expression (F, M, S), which depicts element's reference to another or action on others. By which, operation result is feedback in a twinkle in process planning. To practice the model in CAPP system, both OODB and KDB are used. OODB stores dynamic data that include general process source. KDBs describe mapping rules among feature, device and method.

Abstract:To flexibly integrate various systems at different stages and improve the openness and reusability of information in remote collaborative product development, a framework of integrated product modeling based on Web Services is presented The integrated model consists of a master model and application models that combine static and dynamic information supporting whole product lifecycle. The master model contains the core and shared information. The application model relating to specific manufacture domain is built up by extracting the master model and complementing domain information. The flexible integration of heterogeneous systems is ensured by the use of Web Services. The openness and expansibility are preserved by combining STEP and XML for information representation and exchange. The high reusability of product information is achieved by using a service-oriented multi-granularity schema The information consistency among the master model and application models is maintained through a coordinated-protocol for rapidly acquiring alteration and reacting to it.

Abstract:In the process of enterprise informatization, mass of legacy systems (such as database and applications) need integration, different application systems (PDM, ERP, SCM, CRM) need interaction and business between enterprises demand close cooperation. Took enterprise business cooperation as object, aimed at heterogeneous system integration, this paper proposed a framework for business cooperation-oriented heterogeneous system integration, and analyzed key technologies related to the framework, such as ontology modeling, ontology mapping, and semantic interoperation mechanism. Finally, the realization of the business cooperation framework was discussed. As a proof of concept, a prototypical platform based on this framework was developed, and the operating principle of the platform was analyzed. The proposed scheme has great theoretical significance which provides a new architecture and approach for heterogeneous system integration on business cooperation.

Abstract:This paper addresses the application of STEP techniques in CIM environment and explores the principles of establishing STEP feature model, realizing feature-based modeling in CAD/CAPP, implementing STEP toolkit and carrying out model mapping. Based on these approaches, a kind of “Plug and Play” technique for feature mapping and information integration is discussed. Finally, a system independent method to feature-based CAD/CAPP integration is presented.

Abstract:The study of component connections and connectors is helpful to architecture-based software development. Based on connection semantics, connector model is described. Then considering software architecture styles and the implementation of connectors, the connectors are classified into 11 types, which include procedure calling, parameterization, sharable data, adapter, transformer, proxy, abstract base class, interpreter, event trigger, massage broker and component wrapper. Each of them supports different implementation map and reuse approach respectively.

Abstract:Commercial-off-the-shelf components (COTS) are widely reused at present and black-box composition is the unique way to integrate them into the target system. However, various mismatches among components often hamper the integration of COTS. While the existing approaches to modeling software systems often neglect the issue of COTS component-mismatch detection and elimination. Aiming at solving this problem, this paper proposes an adaptive software architecture model. Based on this model, we first analyze and conclude the mismatches among heterogeneous components, and then we propose the corresponding solutions to eliminate these mismatches and provide a seamless integration for COTS components. At the same time, we employ an example of Web-based application system to illustrate the efficiency of our approach.

Abstract:UML collaboration diagrams represent the structure relationship and interactive behavior of the objects involving in a collaboration of the software system,whether they are correctly implemented or not could be validated by integration testing.An approach is proposed to generate integration test cases based on UML collaboration diagrams.It takes a collaboration diagram as the test model,it identifies all the scenario paths in the diagram which represents use case realization by traversing the direct successors of each message.It selects and traverses each scenario path to get the method call sequence,path condition and parameters.It applies category partition method to generate rational combination of input parameters,environmental conditions,as well as the corresponding output and method call sequence,to form a test case for each scenario path.This method,combines white-box and black-box test method to generate fewer test cases to test the gray-box behavior,as well as to cover all the integration requirements.
A Component-Based Model Integrated Framework For Embedded Software

Abstract:The development of distributed, concurrent software in embedded systems is becoming increasingly complex and error-prone. Model-based integration of reusable components is advocated as the method of choice. To this end, we propose a framework to support component-based model integration, hierarchical functionality composition, and reconfiguration of systems with continuous and discrete dynamics. In this framework, components are designed and used as building blocks for integration, each of which is modeled with abstract ports, reactions, and communication schemes. It uses hierarchical composition to hide the implementation details of components, and keeps the components at the same level of hierarchy interacting under a well-defined model of computation. Code generation takes the design decisions down to the final running system. Within this framework, embedded software can be constructed by selecting and then connecting components in a functionality repository, specifying models and transforming them to executable codes.

Abstract:In SaaS (software-as-a-service),software functions are encapsulated as independent and self-contained services,and users can access these services through well-defined interface.The correctness and reliability of service interfaces are critical for service understanding,reuse and integration.With the increasing acceptance of SaaS,more and more software expose interfaces for Internet-based open access.API testing for service interfaces is thus getting increasing attentions.To this end,a model-driven automatic testing method is presented to facilitate efficient and effective service interfaces testing.A model called ISC (interface semantic contract) is defined for modeling services with domain knowledge.Following the model-driven approach,tests are generated from ISC at three levels:test data,test cases for individual services and for composite services.Test cases are then translated to target programming languages through a kind of meta-model defined for test cases.An automatic testing tool (AutoTest) has been designed and implemented,which integrates various algorithms to optimize test generation.What's more,the tool supports design test plan in graphical form and generates test cases in multiple programming languages,for example,C++ or Java.Experimental results demonstrate that AutoTest can support design and generation of large quantities of test cases effectively and efficiently,and test cases generated by OED (orthogonal experimental design) algorithm have more satisfactory test coverage than those by pairwise IPO (in parameter order) algorithm.

Abstract:To meet the needs of open system and specific requirements of CAD platform, the component software bus model (CSB model) is presented. In this model, graphic functional modules and application modules are encapsulated into components and integrated through software bus. Application components based on interpreted and compiled language work together on the same platform, can be added to and removed from the system at run time. Communication between components together with data format transformation is accomplished by Application Service Interface which is composed of Bus Facilitator, Interpreter and Application Service Agent. Based on this model, we have developed a CAD supporting system named OpenDesign, which has successfully come into the market. The CSB model is proven to be a solid base for CAD supporting system with high efficiency, interoperability, scalability and openness.

Abstract:Component-based software development can effectively increase software development efficiency through component reuse. Integration testing is an important technical means to guarantee the quality of software systems composed of components. Aiming at the problem that the scale of software systems is getting larger and larger, and manual design of test cases is costly and difficult, we propose an automatic approach for integration test cases generation based on collaboration diagram and logic contracts. By extracting control flow information from collaboration diagram and combining with contracts as component specification, an intermediate model called execution tree of components is established, then test cases are automatically generated through contract solving technology. This approach not only realizes path coverage, but also completes the automatic integration testing of software system, thereby improving test efficiency and reducing test cost.
