Cyclosporin Induce Apoptosis in Human B Leukemic Cell Line Nalm-6

Abstract:Purpose:To investigate the effects of cyclosporin (cyclosprin A,CsA) on human B-lineage ALL cell line (Nalm-6) in vitro and elucidate the possible mechanism.Methods:Apoptosis was detected by the morphologic observation and DNA gel electrophoresis. Results:The CsA could induce apoptosis and inhibit the proliferation of Nalm-6 cells. Conclusions:The CsA could inhibit the proliferation of human B leukemic cell line Nalm-6 and this inhibition was induced through apoptosis.
