Analysis and nursing on psychological character of patients with ulcerative colitis

Abstract:Objective To analyze the psychological character of patients with ul cerative colitis in defferent hospital pieces. Methods 30 cases of ulcerative co litis were selected.The personality test was performed on the patients twice,us ing self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) and self-rating depression scale(SDS).Resul t SAS and SDS were significantly different from Chinese norm ,(P0.01). Conclus ion Patients with ulcerative colitis have moods of anxiety and depression and th ese negative moods can be reduced by the psychological nursing and suitable trea tment.
