Abstract:After study of existing security models; analysis of information flow model, Bell-LaPadula(BLP) access control model and Biba access control model; and collation and comparison of their advantages and disadvantages, an improved model is put forward that satisfies the actual demands of information security. An implementation strategy is put forward that ensures information security, reliability, practicality and compatibility in the designed security system. An implementation scheme of this security system and its components and functions is provided. This system combines the following functions: mandatory access contro1, privilege separation, security audit, identity authentication and self-protection. It achieves the level 3 of national information security standard and level B1 of TCSEC standard. It was implemented in the Windows NT and Linux operating system and has yielded good resultsin application.

Abstract:The greater the availability of the network, the greater its vulnerability to threats from within and outside the organization. To an organization, an enterprise, constructing an appropriate network security system is very necessary. Based on a framework for network security system design put forwarded in, detailed analysis of the phase of network security design is made in this paper, and architecture model and policy management implemented model are given, which hangs security architecture, security policy implement and the enforced mechanism of network security together, and insures the transition between high-level security requirement analysis and the low-level system implementation smoothly.

Abstract:With development of networked storage and its applications, united storage network (USN) combined with network attached storage (NAS) and storage area network (SAN) has emerged. It has such advantages as high performance, low cost, good connectivity, etc. However the security issue has been complicated because USN responds to block I/O and file I/O requests simultaneously. In this paper, a security system module is developed to prevent many types of attacks against USN based on NAS head. The module not only uses effective authentication to prevent unauthorized access to the system data, but also checks the data integrity. Experimental results show that the security module can not only resist remote attacks and attacks from those who has physical access to the USN, but can also be seamlessly integrated into underlying file systems, with little influence on their performance.

Abstract:Data security has become an increasingly important factor in routine work with the development of applications, and users trend to obtain high security with maximum comfort. In this article a cryptographic file system called NAS_CFS used for NAS is designed. NAS_CFS has some characteristics as below: adding encryption function to file-system layer allows users to encrypt data transparently, obtaining high security by key management based on session ID and user ID, attachment and timeouts mechanisms, and NAS_CFS is an in-kernel file system of high performance using stackable mechanism.

Abstract:A novel security network storage system based on internet is put forward in this paper. First, the hierarchical model is presented consists of storage client, storage middleware and storage network. Second, two key technologies are proposed in detail including ISCSI protocol and distributed storage network; last experimental results prove that the system can improve the security of network storage effectively while not affecting the read and write speed.

Abstract:In recent years, the emerged network worms and attacks have distributive characteristics, which can spread globally in a short time. Security management crossing network to co-defense network-wide attacks and improve the efficiency of security administration is urgently needed. This paper proposes a hierarchical distributed network security management system (HD-NSMS), which can centrally manage security across networks. First describes the system in macrostructure and microstructure; then discusses three key problems when building HD-NSMS: device model, alert mechanism, and emergency response mechanism; at last, it describes the implementation of HD-NSMS. The paper is valuable for implementing NSMS in that it derives from a practical network security management system (NSMS).
