Abstract:Objective To delete secondary contracture of reconstruction nose by expanded forehead flap, we discuss about the application of tissue expander in nasal reconstruct by forehead flap. Methods Now we adopted forehead flap to reconstruct nose in the patients with high hairline at first time, and transplanted split-skin at donor site of forehead, simultaneously we placed expander under the forehead skin. The second time we use the expanded skin to repair the scar of transplant. Results We treated ten patients and followed up after operation, the longest one has tean three years with satisfactory result. Conclusion It was demonstrated that this procedure had the advantages of less disfiguring and unnoticed scarring, clinical results is excellent.
