Investigation on the conductivity of PEO-LiXSiO2 composite polymer electrolyte

Abstract:To improve the ambient conductivity of polyethylene oxide (PEO)-based polymer electrolyte, the composite polymer electrolyte was prepared by the solution-casting with PEO as polymer matrix, LiClO4 and LiN(CF3SO2)2 as salt and SiO2 as filler. Conductivity measurement showed the conductivity of PEO15LiN(CF3SO2)2-10%SiO2 at 30癈 was 4.67 x 10-5S/cm.
