Abstract:The difficulties in the construction of Pingtan strait hi-rail bridge come from its large scale, long life cycle, diverse ocean environment with deep water, strong wind, exposed granite and heavy sea water corrosion. In view of the different geological conditions and water depth, detailed classification of trestle bridge is employed and researches and analyses are conducted to define design parameters so as to provide references for the design of the substructure of such trestle bridges in similar water areas.

Analysis of the influence of open-cut undercrossing of a national highway in Hangzhou on the existing municipal viaduct piers

Abstract:To investigate the influence of open-cut undercrossing of national highway 235 on the main bridge piers of Liuxiang Road west extension interchange,this work employed a combination of field monitoring and finite element simulation.Based on the supporting project,the three-dimensional computational model for both stratum and structure established using Plaxis 3D numerical analysis software,incorporated the HSS constitutive model to simulate the soil behavior.The entire process of open-cut tunnel construction in the undercrossing section was simulated.This analysis delved into the influence of the open-cut tunnel section of national highway 235 on the deformation and stress of piers on both sides of the main bridge of Liuxiang Road west extension interchange.Throughout the excavation of the foundation pit in the tunnel section,the finite calculation results for the horizontal displacement of the bracing structure closely aligned with the measured results,validating the calculation model.This affirmed the efficacy of the HSS constitutive model in simulating the open-cut construction of the undercrossing section.Finite element calculations revealed that,over the entire construction process of the open-cut construction and tunnel construction of the national highway 235 tunnel section,the viaduct piers on both sides experienced a certain degree of impact.The maximum horizontal and vertical displacements of the main bridge pier conformed to the deformation control requirements,ensuring the structural integrity and safety.

Abstract:As one of the effective measures to relieve traffic congestion once, a lot of viaducts were built in the city. However, with the development of it, its disadvantages also exposed gradual y. This paper starts with the background and actuality of motor vehicle viaduct and analyzes its contribution and the adverse impact which viaduct brings to the city and people in the process of development. The author brings in the concept of“Undefined Space”in city, discusses the possibility and feasibility of transformation and utilization of viaduct bot om space and case analysis. Vibration of different types of tracks of subway in soft soil

Abstract:The settlement of subway tunnel due to the rail load after its construction has cause wide concern. But the report of dynamic characteristics of railroad considering uneven settlement has not been reported. Based on a subway tunnel in Zhejiang Province, by choosings two sections of the tunnel, the settlement deformation is measured and the vertical vibration of iron rails is tested. The differences of tunnel settlement deformation and rail vibration are analyzed based on the results. The optimization analysis is conducted for the two section styles. The research results show that the calculated values by the theoretical model agree with the measured ones. But the theoretical results are less than the measured ones because it does not consider the uneven settlement and bending effect. The rail vibration level of steel spring floating slab track is 10 dB smaller than that of the ordinary monolithic track. The vibration acceleration of steel spring floating slab track rail reaches the peak value earlier when the car arrives and quells down later when the car leaves because the inherent frequency of the former is lower than the later one. The vibration of ordinary monolithic track affects the surrounding soil stronger than the vibration of steel spring floating slab track. Larger bigger settlement will cause larger vibration. In order to ensure good operation conditions, it is suggested that the rail track style should adopt steel spring floating slab track in soft soil districts with uneven settlement.

Abstract:Many subways, light rails, and trains travel through urban flood retention regions via tunnels, viaducts, and roadbeds; however, less is known about the flood influence laws of rail transportation by the crossing ways. Rail transit projects were chosen as research objects for the ordinary subway, light rail, and railway passing through urban flood detention areas in Wuhan, and the flood influence characteristics were systematically compared for the three crossing ways. The study revealed that crossing ways primarily affected the flood storage volume occupied per unit length of lines and that the flood influence of rail projects on flood detention areas was proportionate to the flood storage volume occupied per unit length of lines. Specifically, the flood storage volume occupied per unit length of tunnels was about 1/8.9 that of viaducts and 1/19.7 that of roadbeds. Moreover, the tunnel way had the least influence on the main aspects, such as flood control, floods on engineering, and engineering-related aspects; the roadbed-based way had the largest; and the viaduct way was in the middle. These findings may provide technical support for the decision-making, engineering planning, construction, and management of rail transit and other projects in urban flood detention areas.

Abstract:Changzhou is a city situated in the eastern region of China and serves as a pivotal juncture of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, the Grand Canal of China. The study employed spatial syntax foreground and background network analysis to examine the cultural landscape characteristics and determinants of the urban spatial context in Changzhou, influenced by the Grand Canal, with a focus on rivers, streets, and social networks. The findings revealed that: (1) Foreground network construction: serving as the fundamental framework of urban space, street and river networks exhibited distinct functionalities in terms of structural configuration, functional organization, and potential impact. (2) Background network construction: social networks identified through spatial structure recognition demonstrated sustainable characteristics, as their layout was not directly correlated to the foreground network but contributed to the identification of the identity and the traits of social networks. (3) Dual network adaptability to contemporary urban space: it was imperative to redefine the role of river networks to augment their potential impact in shaping scenic leisure systems. This study provides novel insights into preserving and acknowledging the urban spatial context while offering valuable references for safeguarding regional cultural landscapes.

Abstract:This paper takes the No .2 Rail Transit Line of Wuhan as a case study , dividing it into four sections according to ring range of Wuhan , which are within the first ring , within the second ring , within the third ring and outside the third ring .Using the method of GIS spatial analysis to analyze the different impacts of rail transit on dif-ferent sections from two perspectives , which are temporal scale and spatial scale .Among them, the analysis of tem-poral scale takes the whole line as the study object and discusses the different impacts of the rail transit on land use over time , including three aspects , which are differences of variation of areas , differences of variation of land-use degree, differences of variation in the space .The analysis of spatial scale takes five typical stations as study objects , analyzing the different impacts of the rail transit on land use along the spatial areas change , including three as-pects, which are land use functions , land use structures , land use forms .The results show that the impacts of the rail transit on land use are various in different sections , which represents that the influence of land use on urban pe-riphery is greater than that of urban central area .This is because the rail transit has a significant impact on the im-provement of the location conditions of the urban periphery area , which attracts the concentration of many types of land use, such as the commercial land , residential land.etc, which leads to greater change of land use , whereas urban central area is on the contrary .

This thesis points out the significance to propose a scientific and reasonable strategy of developing areas and producing energy, and points out the significance of pattern of land-using on this sort of design.
