ADVANCE OF RESEARCH ON PATHOGENICITY GENES OF PHYTOPATHOGENIC FUNGI

Abstract:The 79 fungal genes have been identified due to the applications of tagged mutagenesis techniques. The identified genes have important roles in the formation of infection structures, cell wall degradation, overcoming or avoiding plant defences,production of toxins, signaling transduction and responding to the host environment. The genes with novel functions have been found in recent several years by improved mutate techniques. The article reviews the advance of research on pathogenicity genes during the recent years.
