Fine sedimentary facies research of oil reservoir in formation PⅠ, Pubei Oilfield, Songliao Basin

Abstract:The oil reservoir in formation PⅠ, Pubei oilfield, Songliao Basin, has its own characteristics. In the plane, the sand developed in a small scale and was dispersely distributed. In the long itudinal section, the thin intermediate layer with heavy mud and heavy calcium present distinct characteristics. This paper subdivides the oil reservoir of formation PⅠas 3 sandstone formations, 11 small layers and 26 sedimentary units.The subdivision is made by viewing the sedimentary sand formation of stage one as the minimal units of petrofacies subdivision and comparisions, cyclic comparision and multiple stage control according to the same stage comparing principle. The reservoir of formation PⅠis subdivided with ascending order as 7 sedimentary subfacies, (the out frontal sedimentary subfacies in lake regression; the intermediate sedimentary subfacies of out-inner-frontal in lake regression; the inner frontal sedimentary subfacies in lake regression; the inner frontal sedimentary subfacies in stability; the inner frontal sedimentary subfacies in lake progression; the intermediate sedimentary subfacies of out-inner-frontal in lake progression; the out frontal sedimentary subfacies in lake progression), 8 sedimentary microfacies and more than 20 logging facies modes.
