TRIPs and Traditional Knowledge Protection

Abstract:The relationships between TRIPs and the traditional knowledge are analyzed from the definition of traditional knowledge. It is pointed out that TRIPs is slack in the traditional knowledge protection, and the traditional knowledge ought to be protected within TRIPs. The necessity of strengthening the internal legislation of intellectual property protection under TRIPs, is emphasized.
