Abstract:AIM three-dimensional reconstruction is the difficulties and focus in development of the medical application software.In this paper,OpenGL and Visualization Tool Kit are used to achieve the specific visualization based on the technology of surface rendering and volume rendering.To contrast the result,some CT data of developmental dysplasia of the Hip patients are reconstructed by using Marching Cube algorithm based on OpenGL and Marching Cube,Ray Casting algorithm which are based on VTK.Marching cube algorithm and Ray casting algorithm based on OpenGL and VTK can both better display the three-dimensional anatomical structure information of patient.Surface can provide effectively render surface of a three-dimensional,but the lack expression of internal information.Instead,volume rendering can greatly improve quality of image,but does not apply to the expression of real-time system.VTK visualization methods can implement simply and rapid display 3D data,it is lack of three-dimensional interactive features.Contrarily,OpenGL which is the underlying API can accomplish flexible interaction,but its code is more complex.

Abstract:Concerning the high test cost and other conditions ' constraints, including time and space constraints, a solution of three-dimensional ( 3D) computer simulation for airfoil delivery system was proposed. Firstly, 3DS Max was utilized to establish the 3D model of parafoil; secondly, the 3D animation simulation of delivery system and its work scene were established by the OpenGL based on VC++, forming a strong realistic 3D simulation environment; finally, Matlab was used to complete the trajectory optimization of parafoil homing. Combining with 3DS Max, OpenGL and Matlab, the simulation of the airfoil delivery system was presented. The simulation result shows that this method is easy to implement in modeling, and it has a strong sense of reality to reflect the airfoil delivery process. It has certain theoretical and pratical significance for designing parafoil system homing trajectory.

Abstract:Display system is an important component of the flight simulated training system.In order to reflect the real-time simulation data from flight simulation computer fully and intuitively,the display system has been built by three-dimensional animation.The method of constructing real-time 3D animated flight simulation based on OpenGL has been discussed in the article.It contains using OpenGL combined Visual C++6.0 exploitation platform and MFC frame.The real-time data received from serial port help to achieve real-time simulation.The experiment proves that the system has good simulation effectiveness and real-time performance.

Abstract:There are two problems in the existing rendering platforms that support HLA-based simulation applications. One is the fact that the management of simulation entity objects and the management of rendering scene objects are separate, which leads to inefficiency in simulation and rendering. Another one is absence of rendering interface, especially for parallel rendering for users. In order to solve the above problems, we present a unified object model supporting HLA-based simulation and parallel rendering, which consists of heterogenous scene graph tree, action list and universal access interface. The Unified object model establishes an efficient data exchange bridge between HLA simulation and parallel rendering. Therefore massive complex scene and large quantity of simulation entities can be organized and managed in a unified form. An experimental demo is given at the end of this paper.

Abstract:A 3-D dynamic analytical system of flow field in pump with itsgraphical engine based on OpenGL was presented. After analysed problems in dynamic simulation of flow field in pump mathematical model was established, An ActiveX component was created and problems such as continuity of fluid field, scene rendering, view from all around were solved according to theory of computer graphology, and then an all purpose file format of 3-D dynamic simulation was established. This project was used in several applications and got beautiful effect.

Abstract:To achieve visual simulation of the computerized numerical control(CNC) on-machine Verification(OMV) system,this paper developed a simulation software of OMV system with OpenGL.The simulation system reads the STL model files to display the part,parse the XML measure-direct files which contain the coordinates of theoretical data to display the theoretical points,receive the data from the CNC system to achieve the real time simulation of the OMV system.Finally,the simulation system is verified with STL files from CATIA.

Abstract:To overcome the shortcomings of commercial virtual simulation software including the need of high hardware configuration,expensive price and function shortage in secondary development,an OpenGL-based construction virtual simulation platform was studied and developed based on existed graphic engine of 4D-GCPSU. Its main features include reality rendering of 3D model by processing material,texture,lighting etc. 3D dynamic simulation and animation display with double buffer technique,creating and controlling of virtual scene with human-computer interaction technology. The platform has been applied and tested in practice engineering projects and can produce high quality 3D realistics model and 3D animations. It can be adopted in the development of 4D virtual construction and dynamic management systems. Therefore,the platform is of practical application value.

Abstract:Traditional SAR simulation and images processing are mainly based on the large complexity computation of mathematical software.This paper presents an airborne SAR of ocean scene visual simulation system.This simulation system is based on the Client/Server structure.The client renders front-end scene with OpenGL,including drawing dynamic ocean scene,loading 3D model of flight vehicle,airborne SAR scan simulation,network communication,SAR echo imaging and display,etc.The server is responsible for the computation of ocean echo,based on the GPU parallel computation.The simulation system and the simulation result show that the method can be used to implement the visualization of airborne SAR in ocean scene.

Abstract:Real-time simulation of satellite and outer space scene had been found great application in aviation and spaceflight, military affairs and national defence. In this paper, a new method to render dynamic outer space scene was proposed. By integrating the knowledge of Computer Graphics and Astronomy, we first modeled the scene of outer space based on astronomical star catalogue. Then we calculated the tracks of satellites, stars and planets. And the realistic synthesis between satellites and outer space background was achieved. Finally by adapting the accelerated rendering techniques of scene, real-time dynamic outer space scene and interactive virtual walkthrough are successfully realized.

Abstract:The 3D graphical simulation of robot is an important part in the off-line control system for robot. Compared with the technology such as OpenGL programming and Open Inventor programming that were used before, the Cortonas SDK can make us to reach more satisfied effecting. In this paper, we make a detailed analysis to improve this point. And we introduce the implication of Visual Reality in the robot modeling. Abstract:This paper describes how 3 D visualization is achieved through OpenGL techniques.A three dimensional model of the aquifer is created from the Finite Element Method(FEM) grid and the top and bottom aquifer depths information,and groundwater table dynamics is displayed by 3 D surface movies.This study can serve as an example of how the use of 3 D visualization techniques can benefit to decision maker to understand groundwater aquifer.

Abstract:In order to emulate dynamic flight and to evaluate the scatter characteristic of submunition,a 3-D graphics displayed computer emulation system for submunition flight is designed on the basis of thorough research on the development functions and interface technologies among the development software MATLAB,3DMax,OpenGL and VC++.The preferable combination of numerical calculation of flight trajectory of submunition,three dimensional graphics object display and computer dynamic emulation of the flight process is realized in the emulation system.The research achievement has significant applied and referencing value for the development of similar software.
