Analysis the Reason of the Early Postoperati Pain of Lumbar Disc Protrusion

Abstract:Objective:To Analysis the reason of the early postoperati pain of Lumbar disc protrusion.Methods:Thirty-eight patients with lumbar disc protrusion were operated and followed-up from 1999.5.to 2001.2.The method of operations were window′s lamina discectomy with 20 cases and half lamina discectomy with 18 cases.Two patients experienced seriously leg and lumbar pain in 2～3 days later postopration.Results:All patients were followed-up 2-21 monthes,the average was 11.5 monthes.The symptom of leg and lumbar pain disappeared completely with 29 cases,76% of all.The symptom of leg and lumbar pain relieved partly with 7 cases,18.4% of all.The symptom of leg and lumbar pain deteriored eraly with 2 cases,5.3% of all.The pain was disappeared completely with one patient in one month later after active treatment of antiinflammation,dehydration,analgecize and physiotherapy.The pain was relieved partly with another patient in one week later after treatment of large dose penicillin.The pain was dispaaeared completely with the patient in two month later after treatment of immobilization in bed.The x-ray of the patient was checked up in three month later,the results was fused between L 4～5 .The patient was cured in 6 month later.Conclusion:The reason of the early postoperati pain of Lumbar disc protrusion were that.1.The lever of operation was erroneous.2.The radical nerve was stimulated or injured.3.The intervertebral space was infected.
