Abstract:Abstract This paper aims to study a control system for a surface cleaning robot and the focus of the study is the surface cleaning robot controller design. The structural framework of the propulsion control system of the surface robot is designed based on the principle of PWM speed control. The function of each module in the control system is divided and described in detail. A kind of thinking based on an AVR microprocessor and its software and hardware design proposals are presented. Through RS485 and PC communication according to the agreed protocol, the control system achieves robot forward, backward, turn and work operations by the use of a DC motor or stepper motor, and it can therefore more successfully realize the work of a surface cleaning robot.

Abstract:Teach system is widely used in welding robot,Users control robot to weld by Teach system.So,the practicability of welding robot depends on function and interface of teach system.Design and realization of Software of teach system which based on the real-time KernelμC/OS-Ⅱ is introduced.The system includes operating system、GUI interface and network communication.It first introduces the main modules,then functional planning and development of teaching box,and design of interface based on GUI is dealt with.At last,realization of the communication between the teaching system and the host controller based on LwIP are specified in detail.Now,development and test has been done,industrialization is carried on.After test and preliminary use of the system,it was proved that the teach system had characteristics of nice interface,comprehensive functions,practicability,and it can satisfy expected requirements of industry.

Abstract:In order to reduce time and cost on service robot development,modular classification on structure was given out with the concept of modular design.Detailed exposition on the contents of transmission layout,transmission realization,body stability and modular structural design of robot was carried out.The results of the assembly and experiment on a sample robot indicate that the development cycle of the service robot based on modular design method is shortened,and its performance satisfies the requirement of the design.

Abstract:Aiming at decreasing the energy-consumption of cleaning robot,a new leaves-cleaning robot was introduced.The design principle of the mechanical structure and control system of the robot was expounded.The robot consists mainly of two driving wheels driven by a DC motor separately,a brush roller driven through an industrial chain by the driving wheels for cleaning and collecting leaves on street or garden floor,a container for storing the leaves,and an infrared sensor for barrier detection.It has the function of avoiding barrier automatically and can be controlled remotely.Practical test shows that the robot has the advantages of low energy-consumption,high stability,and ease-of-operation.

Abstract:The article explores the design and implementation of an intelligent system for automatic cleaning robots based on data analysis algorithms. This system relies on data analysis technology to obtain information about cleaning tasks and optimizes the cleaning route through algorithms. Key technologies include image processing, path planning, and motion control. The system design combines machine learning algorithms to improve system reliability and stability. Sensing technology provides the robot with more comprehensive and accurate environmental information and transmits data in real-time to the cloud, further optimizing system performance. In terms of implementation, the system achieves autonomous perception of the environment and obstacle avoidance through functions such as automatic obstacle recognition and avoidance, intelligent path planning, and autonomous cleaning. In terms of control accuracy, the sensitivity and control accuracy of the robot are improved by analyzing its motion trajectory. The research shows that the intelligent system for automatic cleaning robots based on data analysis algorithms has higher accuracy and efficiency and can achieve autonomous perception of the environment and avoid obstacles. This system has broad application prospects in the consumer market and smart home field, providing more efficient and convenient services for the cleaning industry and promoting the development of intelligent manufacturing and smart homes.

Abstract:In order to improve the efficiency of cargo handling and reduce the labor intensity of human beings, a handling robot system that can recognize ribbons, recognize signposts and automatically charge is designed. The core of control system is based on the server and the basic controller. The optical reading head senses the position of the robot. The servo motor provides the power for the robot to walk. The jacking motor assists the robot to handling the goods. The fuzzy control method is used to control the differential steering of the robot's two-wheel. The experimental results indicate that the control system is stable, safe and reliable, and it has good control performance.

Abstract:This paper describes the path planning method based on biologically inspired neural network and proposes a novel robot control system. Firstly, the principle of the biologically inspired neural network is introduced and its application is analyzed. Secondly, the computer modeling and simulation are conducted and show that this method is effective. Moreover, path planning experiments are accomplished by the cleaning prototype, and the results show the path planning algorithm and the control system feasible. Finally, several necessary measures corresponding to different error reasons are presented to improve the precision of this control system.

Abstract:Abstract With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards and the emergence of various intelligent appliances, a household floor sweeping robot is designed in this subject, which can automatically clean the ground in the room. The robot takes STM32F103ZET6 single chip microcomputer as the controller, uses two DC motors and L298N driving chips to drive the robot to walk, and uses ultrasonic sensors to detect indoor obstacles, The infrared sensor is used to detect the indoor edge position, the straight travel control of the robot is realized through the coding disk combined with PID algorithm, and the turning control is realized through differential control and PWM speed regulation. The robot can realize the garbage cleaning in the regular room, and has a certain application prospect.

Abstract:In light of the problem for garbage cleaning in small water area, an intelligent miniature water surface garbage cleaning robot with unmanned driving and convenient operation is designed. Based on STC12C5A60S2 as the main controller in the design, power module, transmission module and cleaning module are controlled together to realize the function of cleaning and transporting garbage, intelligent remote control of miniature water surface garbage cleaning robot is realized by the WiFi module. Then the prototype is developed and tested, which will verify the rationality of the design. Compared with the traditional manual driving water surface cleaning devices, the designed robot realizes the intelligent control of unmanned driving, and achieves the purpose of saving human resources and reducing labor intensity, and the system operates security and stability, which has certain practical value.

Abstract:The autonomous cleaning bot is a state-of-the-art robotic system that utilizes advanced cutting-edge technology to automate the cleaning process. This paper aims at presenting the design and implementation of an autonomous cleaning robot that efficiently and effectively cleans a variety of indoor spaces, from homes to commercial buildings, using a combination of sensors, algorithms, and cleaning tools. Additionally, this can detect walls and obstacles. Using various sensors, a path planning algorithm is developed to enable the robot to efficiently move and clean floors. Also, this robot can be controlled in a wireless manner via any Bluetooth-enabled device like smartphone or tablet. Localization algorithms, stereoscopic vision, wireless networks, and human-machine interaction are integrated to promote the working performance of this cleaning robot. The system's ability to navigate to specific locations according to the user’s ease and desire, in accordance with a map provided as predefined data, is showcased along with its capability to grasp objects and place them in designated locations, highlighting its improved perception and manipulation abilities. The robot is required to perform various functions such as cleaning the floor, picking up objects, and arranging them on the floor. For such a given floor task, the manipulability of the designated robot arms is analyzed through kinematics. Keywords: Autonomous floor cleaner, Sensors, Motors, Bluetooth-enabled.
Research on Driving Wheel Control of Cleaning Robot Based on Fuzzy Adaptive Tuning PID

Abstract:Aiming at the controllability of the nonholonomic system, take the differential driving wheels of the cleaning robot as a research object, with universality of the nonholonomic system considered, equation of nonholonomic constraint of the cleaning robot was also derived. In addition, by means of Chow theorem, the controllability of the cleaning robot was demonstrated. And backlash in the differential driving wheels of the cleaning robot was performed. Meanwhile, causation which gives rise to the backlash was analyzed. Then, based on the idea of PID parameters fuzzy adaptive control, the fuzzy adaptive PID controller was designed. And fuzzy adaptive PID parameters on-line learning was implemented. According to MATLAB simulations and experiments, the results show that through fuzzy adaptive PID parameters algorithm, response of driving wheels of the cleaning robot is quick, and steady state errors are also narrowed. Improvement in robustness of the cleaning robot nonholonomic system has been done.

Abstract:Abstract This paper completed the development status and working principle of the handling robot, analyzed the performance index parameters and system functional requirements of the robot, and proposed an overall design scheme of the handling robot control system. The mechanical structure design of the handling robot was developed, and the selection of the core components of the system was studied and designed in detail based on theoretical analysis and calculation. Secondly, this paper selected the STM32 microcontroller as the core of the handling robot. It completed the circuit schematic diagram of the systems, and investigated the selection of core sensors for the navigation and positioning module, obstacle avoidance module, and wireless communication module. Finally, this paper studied the automatic control part of the handling robot, which mainly included the modeling of the robot’s manipulator, PID control, and MATLAB simulation verification. In addition, the application prospect of the handling robot was explored. It had the advantages of high efficiency, strong practicability, and perfect function, and had certain practical significance in the application of the logistics industry.

Abstract:The design of a multifunctional intelligent robotic vacuum cleaner is essential for meeting user needs and replacing human cleaning tasks, thereby improving the effectiveness and convenience of human-robot interaction. Existing robotic vacuum cleaners can address the issues of small dust and hair accumulation; however, a comprehensive and integrated solution for sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and general waste cleaning remains necessary. This paper employs the Fuzzy Quality Function Deployment (FQFD) tool and the Algorithm for Inventive Problem Solving (ARIZ) algorithm to address these challenges. The research framework integrates FQFD with the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) methodology to evaluate the weights of user requirements for a robotic vacuum cleaner. Subsequently, these requirements were translated into technical specifications, thus establishing a link between user needs and technical requirements. The ARIZ algorithm is subsequently employed to resolve conflicts and inconsistencies within the FQFD model. Finally, an innovative design for a robotic vacuum cleaner was proposed by utilizing the ARIZ algorithm's problem-solving principles and qualitative and quantitative insights derived from the FQFD. The design is evaluated using the Fuzzy Order Preference Technique (FTOPSIS) method, which resembles the ideal solution. Furthermore, the operational dynamics of the critical components of the design solution that navigate obstacles are analyzed to ensure their effectiveness. The final product can effectively replace humans in complex cleaning tasks while navigating obstacles during sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing for comprehensive space cleaning. The results of this study provide valuable insights for designers to enhance user experience, improve customer emotional satisfaction, and guide future product designs in related product development initiatives.

Abstract:Traditional industrial robots can only repeat the planned path mechanically because they don't have the ability to obtain external information, so they can't complete the task well when the environment is unknown or the precise model of the workpiece can't be known. In this paper, a new type of intelligent handling robot is designed, and its structural design part is introduced in detail. In the control system part, JETSON NANO is the main controller, which integrates various sensors such as binocular camera, gyroscope and accelerometer, and is coupled with the software and hardware of micro deep learning computer to realize the system integration of control, image transmission and machine vision. The test results show that the system can complete the transportation work well.

Abstract:As the proportion of photovoltaic power generation continues to increase, the number of photovoltaic panels installed is also increasing. In response to the direct impact of dust and sand blocking the surface of photovoltaic panels on power generation efficiency, as well as the high cost and low efficiency of daily manual maintenance, this paper designs a photovoltaic panel surface cleaning robot and elaborates on the main structure of the robot: cleaning module and moving module. In order to enable the robot to efficiently complete cleaning work, the robot’s movement trajectory on the photovoltaic surface is planned. The planning method adopts a control strategy combining neural network and PID. Then, the machine’s control system is designed based on the planning method. Finally, through experimental verification, the rationality of the robot’s cleaning structure design is analyzed and verified, and the cleaning efficiency of the robot is improved.

Abstract:Underwater robot has significant potential to clean the fouling on the ship hull. The design of robotic solution as well as control scheme is, however, still challenging. The use of negative pressure and magnetic adsorption technologies in cleaning robots will severely limit their utility in rough hulls and warships. Here we propose an underwater cleaning robot that driven by six thrusters and two crawler belts. The key advantage of our robot is that thrusters can provide enough and reliable adhesive forces to adapt to more common hulls. Furthermore, we present a climbing controller to track the planned coverage path that can guide the robot covering the ship hull without repetition and omission. The difficulties lie in two aspects: inconsistency between two crawler belts and inaccurate depth measurement that caused by changing wave near the water surface. Here we use velocities of crawler belts and pitch angle of the robot to replace the inaccurate depth measurement, and then design a consensus-based sliding mode controller to relieve the inherent inconsistency for tracking the coverage path accurately. Finally, field experimental results on giant ship verify the effectiveness of the presented robotic solution and controller.

Abstract:The cleaning of cement warehouse is a labor-intensive and high-risk operation. The applicability and cleaning effect of traditional work tools are poor. Therefore, most of the methods are manual cleaning, which is inefficient and prone to accidents. It is of great social significance and practical value to develop an intelligent flexible warehouse cleaning robot that replaces the manual cleaning of cement. When the top of the cement warehouse is small and the volume of the cement warehouse is very large, how to ensure that the working range of the cleaning system can cover the entire area, and effectively and quickly complete the cleaning operation, and the automatic control of the cleaning robot has become an automatic control. Key issues to be addressed. Although the human–machine interface configuration technology has been widely used in automated monitoring systems, its graphical and componentized interface construction methods and the flexibility and scalability of the configuration interface have been widely recognized, but the human–machine interface, the coding method is still used in the construction, the development efficiency is low, and the interface is not open and flexible enough. At the same time, there are few research attempts on interface configuration. Interface configuration mostly only stays in the graphical phase of interface construction. Data and interactive control cannot meet the configuration requirements, and there is no complete implementation plan for configuration. Therefore, it has become an urgent need to change the traditional interface development mode and realize the configuration of man–machine interface. Based on the above background, the research content of this article is the research on the automatic control system of intelligent flexible clearing robot. Based on the understanding of the relevant properties of cement powder, this article discusses its flow state in the cement storehouse theoretically and provides a basis for subsequent structural design and stability research. A modularized and component-based configuration method for the numerical control interface is proposed. The interface is divided into three modules: data, graphics, and interactive control. The functional modules are assembled and the components are combined to implement the interface configuration. The experimental simulation results in this article show that compared to the traditional method, the amount of code editing of the configured human–machine interface is reduced by 46.34%, the development cycle is shortened by 43.72%, and the development efficiency of the configured human–machine interface has been greatly improved. It is confirmed that the configuration technology studied in this article can meet the requirements of automatic control systems.

Abstract:Abstract In order to effectively carry out water management and reduce people’s labor intensity, a double-hull water surface garbage cleaning robot is designed, using a pair of adjustable speed pump propellers to provide driving and steering power to the robot. It identifies the water surface garbage position through the binocular camera and algorithm, and the linkage mechanism is designed to complete the garbage pickup function. Through the Raspberry Pi as a controller, the robot has an autonomous intelligent recognition function and an autonomous recovery system. The kinematic simulation analysis shows that the robot garbage picks quickly and accurately; through the prototype function test, the robot is suitable for various complex water environment, with high operation efficiency and reliable performance, and can be widely used in water management.

Abstract:The autonomous driving system is becoming an important part of the smart city, and unmanned sweeper for a specific area is an important application field of autonomous driving technology, which makes low-cost and reliable unmanned sweeper an important technology that the industry needs to develop. Based on the bionic structure, we propose an unmanned cleaning system platform solution, which uses embedded artificial intelligence to empower traditional cleaning equipment. This method realizes the unmanned upgrade without changing the important structure of the traditional cleaning equipment, which reduced the development and production cost of the unmanned sweeper. In this paper, we first adopted the bionic structure on the hardware, which highly integrates the controller and the sensor to reduce the cost of unmanned transformation for sweepers. Secondly, the AUTOSAR software architecture is adopted on the software, which enhances the reliability of the system software. Thirdly, the man-vehicle driving method is adopted to support manual driving and remote control, which improves the usability of the unmanned sweeper.
