Abstract:A development module of network-based virtual instrument technology intended to be used for inspecting the performance of vehicle was presented. G web server provided by NI company helped achieve the web issue of vehicle inspection front panel. Meanwhile DataSocket technique helped achieve data transfer through internet. LabVIEW and web technology were combined to realize the remote control of vehicle inspection to meet the needs of clients. The system has been proved to be quite effective in performance examination of vehicle, such as brake horsepower, speed, noise, lamplight, smoke intensity and the weight of every axle.

Abstract:Facing the disadvantages of the traditional instruments in the field of the vehicle performance test, the virtual instrument technology was introduced, and a vehicle performance testing system based on the virtual instruments was developed. By employing the PC-DAQ scheme and multi-sensor collection and data fusion equipped with a PC machine and the virtual instrument software, a control and measure system were built which can examine the performance of auto exhaust emission, noise, headlight, braking system, suspension system, chassis power, steering system and sideslip, etc. The system was proved to be reliable and accurate through testing cars in practice.

Abstract:The braking performance is the most important technological index for the estimation of an automotive.The key to accurately estimate the braking performance for an automotive is how to precisely get the parameters of braking performance.At present,the popular Virtual Instrument developing bench-LabVIEW is used in the test and data acquisition system,the system is able to test and analyze the parameters in real time,such as braking distance,braking time,braking force,slip rate of each wheel,braking deceleration,the change of pressure in pipes and so on.This system possesses such characteristics as real-time,accurateness,operating conveniency,friendly interface and so on.

Abstract:The concept and the theory model of the virtual testing based on virtual reality are studied.In terms of the mapping relation between the vehicle vibration testing system and the virtual testing system of vehicle vibration based on virtual reality(VTSVVBVR),the system framework design and the implementation method of the VTSVVBVR,which consists of virtual reality subsystem,modeling subsystem and virtual instrument subsystem,are proposed.The VTSVVBVR is designed,and the display of the virtual testing results of the vehicle vibration is presented,which has shown that the theory model of the virtual testing based on virtual reality is suitable for the VTSVVBVR design,and the vehicle vibration and its signals of time domain and frequency domain could be observed simultaneously in three observation models respectively by the aid of the system.

Abstract:A static and dynamic performance integrated test system was designed based on virtual instrument technology to meet the needs of performance testing for electro-hydraulic servo valves used in power plant.The control principles and hydraulic circuit of the system were described.The compositions of hardware and software were introduced as well as the performance parameters.Com-paring the result of delivery test with the measured results,it proves that the system is available.The system has been used in practice.

Abstract:In this paper, a new method of automobile performance test based on virtual instruments is presented against the disadvantages of traditional instruments in the field of automobile performance test.The automobile test system based on virtual instruments has been built.Authors use the PC-DAQ scheme and adopt multi-sensor and data fusion equipped with PC machine and the virtual instrument software. Thus,and the data gathering controlling instruments and system of automobile test based on the virtual instruments come into being. Abstract:A multi-parameter vehicular integrated transmission on Visual Basic software platform is self developed to enhance automation and intelligence level of data acquirement and procession,which is based on the synthesis of techniques such as virtual instrument,steady and transient data acquirement and office automation techniques.Multiple channels of traditional instruments are integrated on one platform on the basis of database sheets of test tasks,sensors,devices and calibration data,so as to adapt the demand of different test tasks.Multi-parameter data are acquired and processed and test reports are outputted automatically,and failure mechanism reasoning is derived by fuzzy inference.Application of this system shows that it works reliable and easily to be operated.

Abstract:In order to satisfy the performance test requirements of driving motor system of electric vehicle, a test platform is established based on driving motor characteristic analysis. Virtual instrument technology is also used in this test system design. A hardware construction based on PXI bus is built up. Test software based on project management and hierarchy configuration is written. The test system makes full use of the flexibility, compatibility and reusability of virtual instrument, and can realize multi - channel parallel, high speed data acquisition in motor test. This test system was used in practical experiment successfully; the objectivity and automation in test process are improved remarkably. Experiment result shows that this test system has preferable value in technique research and application.

Abstract:To meet the command of different kinds of experiment in engineering test course, a general testing system was developed based on virtual instrument using LabWindows/CVI which was a VI development environment. A general testing software with network function in B/S (Browser/Server) structure was developed by using modularigation idea. This paper introduced the hardware and software structure of the general testing system and function of every software module, and introduced application of this system by taking a vibration testing example. It is proved by practice that this system can be used in many kinds of testing experiments with good expansibility.

Abstract:According to the model of aircraft dynamics,the process of aircraft braking is simulated based on high-competence digital signal processor F2812 in aircraft all-electric braking test system,accordingly to test the performance of the all-electric braking system.The experiments' results reveal that the test system can transmit real-time velocity of aircraft and wheel to controller truly and reliably,realize the destined test function.

Abstract:ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) can avoid the wheel locking when the vehicle urgently brakes as an auxiliary braking system. Its performance parameter must be accord with some evaluation standard. The vehicle equipped with ABS was studied in this paper. The main performance examination parameter was determined and mathematical model of ABS was established. The module and the test stand of ABS performance examination experiment were designed by LabVIEW. Then experiment was carried on the test stand. ABS performance examination parameter was collected, analyzed and handled. In the end, the method of performance examination was tested. The result shows that the virtual experiment can get the same result as the vehicle road test and it has greater efficiency.

Abstract:Vehicle virtual instrument based on OBD-II system was developed.The virtual instrument could detect vehicle failure comparing with traditional instrument.The instrument system communicated with OBD-II system in serial mode through OBD interface by using scan tool.After analyzing the data which was stored in execute control unit,the instrument could get the information and trouble code of the vehicle.The instrument was composed by many independent meters which were made in ActiveX controller.This instrument platform had been tested on the vehicle,which demonstrated that it could real-time monitor the vehicle,display trouble codes and save the record.

Abstract:On the base of the vibration mechanical model and the motion equation of automobile suspension built. Analyze and bring forward the performance evaluation index of the suspension, and put forward the new testing method of the suspension performance. Using the virtual instrument technology, we develop the automobile suspension performance testing system. It adopts the PC-DAQ scheme. On the base of the original excitation suspension performance testing table we equip the table with some necessary sensors, the personal computer and the virtual software. Then the automobile suspension performance testing system is built. It can measure the absorptivity, the vibration frequency, the phase difference and the corresponding vibration waveform and so on. It also provides the foundation for the integrated estimation of the suspension performance and fault diagnosis. By testing cars in practice, the academic model is proved accurate and feasible and the testing system is exact and credible.

Abstract:This paper gives an introduction to the design process of a horizontal type virtual friction testing machine,including its basic operating principle,components and the methods to design the system software and hardware.By simulating the working environment of materials and using the proper graphical interface and programming environment of LabVIEW,the virtual instrument can implement the necessary functions,such as the real-time data display,recording,report printing and historical data recalling,thus ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the data under test.

Abstract:A micro-motor performance test system was developed by means of the virtual instrument platform LabVIEW. The system takes the dynamometer as a core and integrates data acquisition,data processing,waveform display and test environ-ment control as a whole. Under the control of an industrial personal computer,the test bench automatically completed dynamic/static performance testing and experiments of brushless DC electric motors with two specifications. The C language subroutine embedded in LabVIEW was utilized to make the system have extremely powerful and flexible ability of data processing,and pro-vide a good platform for the later data processing. The test bench can simulate the actual working conditions,and carry out ex-perimental study on the micro-motor performance test in various modes.

Abstract:Virtual Instrumentation (VI) is becoming a popular tool in measurement, test and automation as a result of rapid development of computer technology. In this paper, a engine test experimental system comprised of computer, DAQ Card PCI-6024E board, and other components, is presented. The signal output from sensors are transmitted to PCI-6024E board by conditioning circuits, and two-circuit control mode of throttle and hydrovalve with closed loop drive by direct digital control has been proposed. The control signals based on the incremental PID control algorithm are sent out from PCI-6024E board, and they control the throttle and hydrovalve by pulse width modulation drove circuits. The accuracy and stability of the whole control system has been proved satifactory. The system software has been developed by LabVIEW, which offers the system a lot of merits, such as friendly user interface, cost of development, short development period, and flexible functional-extension,etc.

Abstract:This paper carried out a series of experiments to study why braking feel of some hybrid electric vehicle is weak. The experiments consider factors such as pedal speed, vacuum degree, velocity and so on. The relationship between pedal force, pedal travel, and line pressure and vehicle deceleration can be adjustable by different vacuum degree. Two vehicles are tested according to the above methods. Contrast to the testing result, the reason that the braking feel is weak was found, some measures was made to improve the situation. As a result, some conclusion can be used for the brake-by-wire system.
