Abstract:One of difficult tasks on dynamic systems is the exploration of connection models of variables from time series data. Reasonable time regions for constructing the models are crucial to avoid improper models or the loss of important information. We propose fuzzy learning of geometric structures to find reasonable time regions and proper models to reveal varying laws of system. By comparing values of fuzzy merging function for shorter time regions and fuzzy unmerging function for larger varying actions, reasonable model regions are inferred. Experimental results (for both simulated and real data) show that the proposed method is very effective in finding connection models adaptive to the evolution of a dynamic system, and it detected large varying actions in the regions below preset minimal region length, whereas the non-fuzzy learning method failed.

Abstract:To solve the problems of the dynamic information management in the product data management for the enterprises,an abstractive mathematical model is established on the basis of the general analysis of product dynamic process.The model consists of the designed object,design activity,parameter and user,among which the design activity is further made up of the attribute,the sub-activity,the disassembling mode,the constraint,the reference information,the results and the father design activity.In addition,the process management,version management and the right management reflecting the main product dynamic management are also discussed.At last,the applicability of the model to an actual product dynamic management is confirmed with the example of a boiler thermodynamic calculation design process.

Abstract:Most traditional expert systems are based on symbolic representation and deduction. The problems of undesirable completeness and precision of symbolic representation lead to complex deduction process. Fuzzy cognitive map(FCM) is effective for fuzzy information representation. FCM was used to map system knowledge into fuzzy state sets; then the fixed relationship weight values were transformed into dynamic values by the Relationship Mapping Function. Object-oriented method was used to build a agent model. Agent knowledge was described by inner components and joint weights between them. Inference was carried out by numerical computation instead of symbolic deduction. This reasoning model is easy to implement and is characterized by high applicability.

Abstract:Hysteresis nonlinearities are very common in many scientific fields. The hysteresis characteristics can not only be represented by static characteristics and the influence of system dynamic characteristics should also be taken into account. Based on static Preisach model, the note realizes the accurate description of the hysteresis dynamic characteristics which are caused by the system dynamic input variation by adding the speed of system input variation on hysteresis model. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through example.

Abstract:There have no suitable spatio-temporal data model to manage dynamic data in forestry information field so far.The evolution of forestry geographic entity generally is a temporal and spatial course in which gradual change and abrupt change happen alternately.Furthermore,the type and frequency of evolution of spatial distribution and attributes in forestry geo-entity are not the same.A new spatio-temporal expression named sequence states which is composed by the methods of snapshots and events is put forward.On that basis,an object-oriented forestry spatio-temporal data model developed according to the characteristic of forestry data.Different types of evolutions could be expressed by this model as well as different types of changes.Moreover,uncertain data are adopted in the model to strengthen expression to the course of gradual change.The feasibility of the model is verified by a prototype system.

Abstract:The advantages of fuzzy logic and artificial neural network were combined for modeling thermal dynamic errors of precision machine. A new method of principal component analysis was presented for identification of the structure and parameters of the fuzzy model. Based on linguistic rule descriptions, fuzzy relationship and reasoning, fuzzy modeling relied on identifying structure and parameters. Principal component analysis could identify the structure and parameters of consequence. In order to overcome the problem which the fuzzy model could not resolve because the effective data number was less than the consequence parameter number, the artificial neural network method was used to determine which special data groups could be chosen to train the neural network. When the model precision was not enough, the fuzzy neural network was trained a lot of times until the precision was satisfied. An example shows that the fuzzy neural network can model the thermal dynamic errors effectively.

Abstract:Process reference models have more important effects on enterprise information. Their characters are used to identify and search the similar ones. Since they are fuzzy, this paper presents a method for classing and searching process reference models on the fuzzy theory. It includes the design of fuzzy characters and weight for process reference models and the method of fuzzy classification and searching. These methods help enterprises find similar process reference models in several industries.

Abstract:Data fusion technology plays a pivotal role in aggregating, storing, and mining multi-source data to extract its joint value through the construction of a unified fusion representation model. However, we argue that mainstream methods are limited to precise data, which may not satisfy practical application requirements, as data collected from an information source often exhibits imprecision and uncertainty. In this paper, we develop a Multi-source Fuzzy Data-driven Dynamic Fusion Representation (MFD-DFR) model. This model effectively addresses the challenges related to heterogeneity, dynamics, and quality optimization that arise during the fusion of fuzzy data. To achieve this goal, we first adopt intervals as a means of description to capture the inherent uncertainty in single-source information. We then present a Dynamic Interval Standardization (DIS) algorithm, a novel approach that dynamically deals with the heterogeneity of multi-source fuzzy data without relying on the storage of historical sample data. We next propose a fusion representation model for standardized intervals that improves the quality of single-source fuzzy data through confidence interval estimation. The experimental results convincingly demonstrate that the MFD-DFR model outperforms alternative models in terms of data classification and clustering. We also show the effectiveness of our proposed DIS algorithm in expediting the convergence speed of gradient descent algorithms.

Abstract:In this study, commercing from the structural characteristics of fuzzy information, we propose the concept of level effect function, which can be used to describe fuzziness consciousness and to establish an I"L-metric method to measure all aspects of fuzzy information; further, we present an uncertainty metric model of concentrated quantification value; then, we establish two kinds of solution models based on the synthesizing effect of fuzzy assignment problems, by combining the genetic algorithm and assignment problems, and describe a concrete implementation strategy and algorithm to fuzzy assignment problem (denoted by GA@?SE-FAM, for short); finally, we consider the algorithm's convergence using Markov chain theory, and analyze its performance through simulation of practical examples. All of these indicate that this algorithm possesses the advantages of higher feasibility and easier operationalization, as such, it can be widely used in many fuzzy assignment problems.

Abstract:Based on the field model,a uniform dynamic field model is proposed to support representing the characteristics of distribution continuity and time development of spatial phenomena.Through analytical expressions and arrays data structures,data types and operating functions of the new model are extended in an object-relational database to support uniform representation,management,access and spatio-temporal querying for continuous and discrete dynamic fields.Several examples are demonstrated to discuss the representing and querying ability of the new model and its database extension.

Abstract:Fuzzy set has become the focus method of trust model. Based on the exisdng research, this trust model give a description of the trust with fuzzy set theory, and trust assessment is separated two aspects which are subjective trust assessment and objective environment impact. In order to adapt to the dynamic of credibility, we use close function which from fuzzy set and distributed storage method in trust update model. Abstract:It is foundation and key of developing GIS platforms of new generation to study the network-oriented massive spatial and spatio-temporal data model. But the research has met many difficulties. The paper combines two models of massive spatial data and spatio-temporal data seemed to be independent to study together in theory and technique. On the base of analyzing the limitations of present geographical spatial data model and spatio-temporal data model, a new model with characteristics of new generation's GIS platform, that is, Feature-Oriented Massive Spatio-temporal Object Tree (FOMSOT) with four-tier architectures is presented. The FOMSOT breaks down the constraint of map layer. It can deal with the massive spatio-temporal data better. The dynamic multi-base state with amendment (DMSA), fast index of base state with amendment in section, storage factors of variable granularity (SFVG) are used in FOMSOT which can manage the massive spatio-temporal data in high efficiency. A prototype "LyranMap" of new generation's GIS platform with the theory and technical method of FOMSOT has been realized, and it has been used in some application systems, for example, the land planning system "LandPlanner", land investigation system "LandExplorer" and land cadastral system "LandReGIS". These verify the correctness and effectiveness of the FOMSOT.

Abstract:Trust management model is fundamental for information security in open networks. The fuzzy nature of subjective trust is considered, and the fuzzy set theory has been used to model the issues of trust management. The formalized valuation of subjective trust is given, the definition of trust class and the evaluation of trust are discussed, derivation rules of trust relationships are presented and a subjective trust management model is provided. The formal model proposed in this paper provides a new valuable way for studying trust management in open networks.

Abstract:An inspection of the change of landuse features was performed to evaluate the deficiencies of the spatio-temperal data models based on event or sequence of events.It is difficult to describe the relations of spatio-temperal objects and causal relationships of events with these models.A Process-Based Spatio-Temperal Data Model(PBSTDM) is established to satisfy this demand.The model can retain the evolution characteristics of spatio-temporal objects and reflect the cause and effect events involved in the process.An organization frame work of PBSTDM and a land use change management system-LandEx are worked out.It is proved that PBSTDM can facilitate the data access and advance the efficiency of spatio-temporal data processing.

Abstract:Traditional data envelopment analysis (DEA) models for evaluating the relative efficiency of a set of entities called decision making units (DMUs) are limited to precise data. In practical evaluation problems, input and output data which are collected from observation or investigation are often imprecise. In the case, many fuzzy DEA models are proposed, and previous research focused on solving the fuzzy DEA model under the constant returns to scale or the variable returns to scale. In this work, the fuzzy DEA model with nondecreasing returns to scale is studied. Imprecise input and output data are represented by fuzzy sets, and the centroid formula is introduced to evaluate DMUs. In order to illustrate the proposed fuzzy model, an illustrative example is provided.
Modeling of Nonlinear Continous Time Dynamic System with Fuzzy Neural Networks

Abstract:A Runge-Kutta fuzzy neural network (RKFNN) is presented, which is appropriate for modeling a general nonlinear continuous time dynamic system. It is proved that RKFNN can approximate any nonlinear dynamics with any given precision. RKFNN that learns the changing rates of system states is constructed with the traditional Runge-Kutta integral equations, which solves the low precision problems of DMFNN learning systems states. For RKFNN learning, an online recursive algorithm is presented. It is shown experimentally that RKFNN is a better structure for modeling a nonlinear continuous time system.
