Abstract:Multi-agent system has been known to provide distributed and collaborative problem solving environment. Each diagnostic agent can diagnose with itself knowledge base to improve the properties of reliability and real time of diagnostic system. Meanwhile, problems of cooperation and evaluation are brought. Based on introducing the structure of multi-agent diagnostic system, the paper introduces strategies of cooperation and evaluation based on the evidence theory, and studies the problem of cooperation and evaluation in the circumstance of having mutually exclusive faults. It is helpful to improve the reliability of multi-agent diagnostic system.
