Methodology and Chinese Aesthetics in the 20th Century

Abstract:The problem of method links closely with Chinese aesthetics in the 20th century, especially after mid-20th century, the problem of methodology has become a critical theme in the study of aesthetics, and deeply influenced the theoretical construction of contemporary aesthetics. This dissertation historically discusses the logical connection between methodology and the 20th century Chinese aesthetics, its deep influence on the 20th century Chinese aesthetics and its limitations from the theoretical horizon of the humanities, then theorizes and discusses the problems of discipline orientation and methodology of aesthetics as the humanities.
