Abstract:A novel AutoCAD MAP based distribution management system is presented in this paper.The characteristics of the global structural design and the disposal function of graphic module are introduced.The system has better graphic user interface,high levels of stabilization and gives rigorous results.

Abstract:To make it more convenient for Power Supply Company to manage distribution line assets, users and running, provide basic distribution data to sub- departments, analyze line losses, optimize reactive compensation,, and to provide an enterprise information platform with IT application solution, a visual Distribution Management System (DMS) with a fully graphical man-machine interface based on AutoCAD Map secondary development technology is developed, with the functions of drawing, search, energy loss computation and comprehensive analysis. An upstream searching technique considering the state of switches is introduced to analyze topological structure of the network, forward/backward sweep method is used to calculate the flow in view of dispersive small power sources, and accurate reactive power moment is adopted to optimize the network, and distribution network reconfiguration is introduced as another effective way to reduce power losses. Its application to ShaoGuan city 10 kV distribution network shows that it realizes the integrity of graphics, data, calculations, analysis and management. (6 pages)

Abstract:Power department has used the professional drawing software(e.g.AutoCAD)or the independently developed information management system for power graphic in recent years,which has realized the spatial data management,but also has many insufficiencies.In view of this,the paper studied a combination mode of geographic information system and power distribution network management system.It designed and developed a set of complete C/S pattern for the geographic information system for power distribution network,based on spatial data administration mode of Oracle and ArcSDE,and the development tool of Arc Engine,and the platform of VS.NET.The system was able to put the fundamental geographic information,power equipment data and attribute data into dynamical correlation and integrated management.The system realized high-level analysis function in power network distribution management through spatial analysis,and achieved simplification of operating mode and improvement of working efficiency.

Abstract:With the development of distribution network, how to plan the distribution network scientifically and reasonably becomes an urgent problem. In this paper, a design and implementation method of power network planning system based on Geographic Information System (GIS) automatic mapping technology is presented. The visualization of distribution network source-network-load total topology graph is realized through single-line graphic layout and network topology analysis. Through layered design of power network planning system, scientific and reasonable guidance and evaluation of distribution network planning can be achieved. The rationality of the proposed method and design system is verified by system design, simulation and operation.

Abstract:In this paper,based on the method geographic information system(GIS) visual development interface,a GIS map is designed and drawn by MapInfo,which includes basic geographic layer,power station layer,substation layer,220 kV transmission line layer,and 500 kV transmission line layer.Moreover,some basic functions and advanced functions of human-computer interaction of electric power system GIS based on MapX are achieved.The basic functions include space function,search function,display data function,thematic map function,eagle eye map function,contour map function,and 3D Visualization function.The advanced functions include multi-screen display function and associated adaptive regulatory function.According to different usage features and demands,more advanced functions can be developed on this basis.The design as presented in this paper will have significant effects in the management,analysis and maintenance of the power grid data.

Abstract:To make it convenient for Shaoguan Power Supply Company to manage the distribution line assets,users and operation,to provide the basic distribution data to the sub-departments,to analyze the line losses,to optimize the reactive compensation,and to provide an enterprise information platform with IT application solution,a visual distribution management system(VDMS) with a fully graphical man-machine interface based on Autocad2004 secondary development technology was developed,with the functions of drawing,search,energy loss computation and synthetic analysis.An upstream searching technique considering the state of switches was introduced to analyze the topological structure of the network,forward/backward sweep method was used to calculate the flow in view of the dispersion small power sources,and accurate reactive power moment was adopted to work out the compensate nodes and the capacity.The pole-compensation type and the low-voltage-side-of-transformer-compensation type are available in this management system.Practical examples show that this system enhances the precision and efficiency for inputting a large number of distribution data and provides convenient,rapidly accessing and intuitional functions of inquiry and statistic.It realized the integrity of graphics,data,calculations,analysis and management.

Abstract:In order to extract accurate data for mapping in the actual work of evaluation of the geological disasters,with the combination of the basic characteristics of AutoCAD(Auto Computer Aided Design) and MAPGIS(Map Geographic Information System),we analyzes the characteristics of the two graphics data and the problems which should be paid attention to in the graphics data conversion process.The paper focuses on the process and methods in the conversion process between the AutoCAD DXF(Drawing eXchange Format) and DWG(Drawing) two graphics data format and the MAPGIS MPJ(Mapgis Project) graphical data format,so that the existing geographic information resources can be utilized sufficiently and graphics data can be shared.

Abstract:Based on the analysis of the software architecture of existing GIS applications in industry,a compound architecture pattern which integrates Client/Server architecture and Browser/Server architecture is proposed so as to better meet the requirement for geospatial information sharing and make better use of geospatial resources.The compound architecture is then used to remake the system which has been used in the Land and Resources industry,called Urban Cadastral Information System,by dividing the original single-architected system into several subsystems with the GIS functionality provided by the same GIS Server.The prototype system runs well and the expected goals are achieved,which to some extent solves the problem that once the single-architected system ran into,meets the demands for sharing the geospatial information and provides new thoughts for the GIS-related applications in other industries.

Abstract:Abstract In view of the inaccuracy and completeness of the distribution network system diagram in the current power grid, the power network structure and the business characteristics of the power industry are investigated and analyzed. The relationship model between substations is analyzed, and the inheritance circuit layout design idea is applied to the distribution. In the grid system topology diagram. The paper proposes a method of dividing the power supply area according to the line contact relationship, and develops an equal density constrained space layout algorithm. Make full use of the distribution network geographic information (GIS) drawings, carry out the power grid topology and line information maintenance, so that the system diagram covers all electrical equipment on the GIS, and can carry out the original electrical topological relationship of the gemstones, and realize the absence of each subsystem. The seams provide image support for a variety of applications. The experimental results show that the proposed spatial topology algorithm is efficient and easy to implement.

Abstract:The CAD system is developed with Visual C++ 6.0 in the form of dynamic link libraries. The development environment is ObjectARX. It is according to the rule of “Drawing standard of water resources and hydroelectric engineering” (SL 73.l-6—95). It includes functions of setting the drawing environment, generating legend, filling up patterns for water conservancy projects, plotting the landform contours, managing the graphic library and generating list of material. It is embedded with AutoCAD 2000. It shares the address space with AutoCAD and directly calls the commands of AutoCAD. It works in with AutoCAD to make designers raise their work efficiency.

Abstract:This paper presents a preliminary design of an automated mapping/facilities management (AM/FM) system based on an integrated geographic information system (GIS). The GIS provides an environment for building an electric facilities database which includes graphic information and facility attribute data. The database can be used for engineering analysis, accounting and map production. Facility and network data can be retrieved by searching through the graphic and nongraphic data files. The retrieved data can then be used to form input data files for power system applications. With the powerful graphic capability of the system, simulation results can be viewed from the computer screen along with the graphic displays. In this paper, the integration of the GIS database and application software is illustrated by using a three-phase load flow program. The structure of the GIS database is introduced, and the interface programs are described. It is also shown that with the aid of GIS the facility statistic reports on system facilities can be easily established

Abstract:Geographic information systems (GIS) are computer-based systems designed to support the capture, management, manipulation, analysis, and modeling of spatially referenced data. At present, GIS has been extensively used in the energy management system and provides visualized platform to electrical distribution system analysis, design and operation, that is, AM/FM/GIS. One-line diagrams are widely used to represent the electrical distribution system current state and its facilities connectivity relationship. Once AM/FM/GIS integrate with SCADA, the real time operational data obtained, one-line diagrams could represent electrical distribution system dynamic topological relationship. In the past, one-line diagrams was produced by means of manual working using CAD or more original analogy circuit board, it is inefficient and easily error. Therefore it's significant to implement automatic generation one- line diagram, it can reduce the human errors and the huge effort in a manual generation technique. This paper presents a methodology to automatically build these diagrams based on the usage of geospatial data from AM/FM/GIS. All electrical distribution system facilities including the network buses, branches, switches and transformers were abstracted into edges and nodes. With the aid of the routing methodology in the large scale integration, an intelligent routing algorithm for the power system graph is presented. The intelligent routing algorithm permits the elimination of intersection and overlap of buses and other facilities. The approach was successfully demonstrated with some city district electrical distribution system.

Abstract:The features of component GIS?(ComGIS) are explained. As it is smart and can be embedded into common development environment freely, it may be widely applied. Regarding to the complexity of power network structure, the multiplicity of power equipment information and the difficulty of power equipment management, ComGIS is applied to combine various equipment information with geographic information and relative views. Different databases are also adopted to reduce the difficulty of program development and the application complexity.
