The Study on Cardiac Function of Liver Cirrhosis Patients

Abstract:ObjectiveTo study cardiac function of liv er cirrhosis patients and the relationships between cardiac function and liver func tion,histories,portal pressure,ascites volume.MethodsA total of 30 liver cirrhosis patients (study group) an d 10 c hronic hepatitis patients(control group) were examined by Doppler echocardiogra phy,liver function test,abdominal ultrosonography and H/L.ResultsThere was a significant difference between the E/A of liv er cirr hosis patients and that of chronic hepatitis patients;there wasn't a significant difference between the E/A of Child A liver cirrhosis patients and that of Child B liver cir rhosis patients.There was a significant difference between the E/A of Child C li ver cir rhosis patients and that of Child A and Child B liver cirrhosis patients.There w as a si gnificant difference between the E/A of portal pressure above 40 cmH 2O liver c irrhos is patients and that of below 40 cmH 2O liver cirrhosis patients.There is a sig nifica nt difference between the E/A of above 10 years liver cirrhosis patients and tha t of bel ow 10 years liver cirrhosis patients;there were no significant differences among the E /A of no ascites,little volume ascites and large volume ascites liver cirrhosis patients.ConclusionThe cardiac dilastolic function of liver cirrhosis patients obviously decrease( P 0.05).There are positi ve relations between the cardiac dilastolic function of liver cirrhosis patients and li v er function,histories,portal pressure.There aret's relations between the cardiac dilastolic function and ascites volume of liver cirrhosis patients.
