Abstract:A pilot-scale study on treatment of bathing wastewater from a university dormitory was carried out using a combined process of biological contact oxidization and membrane bioreactor. Results showed that removal efficiency of SS, color, COD_(Cr), LAS and NH_3-H was 99%, 95%, 90%,95% and 95% respectively with contact time of 5h. The combined process prospective in wastewater reclamation has some characteristics of stable performance, simple operation and easy management, and effluent can meet discharge criteria.
