Abstract:The parametric feature modeling method based on template was adopted. The variational design was driven by database, main control part and full relating data structure. The assembly simulation method depends on assemble plan and the technique of animation. The design of user interface was supported by multimedia and customization development techniques. All those approaches, Parametric feature modeling, variational design, linkage design between part and assembly, assembly simulation, interference detection, user interface design, were realized by using a moonlet as an example under Pro/ENGINEER environment.
