Studies on Monosaccharide Composition of TGP Extracted from Tea and Its Ionization Mechanism by GC-MS

Abstract:With water extraction and gel filtration purification, a kind of polysaccharideprotein conjugate, TGP(Tea Glycoprotein), was prepared. To analyse its monosaccharide composition, TGP was fully hydrolysed by vitriol, then the obtained monosaccharides were derivatated by hydroxylamine hydrochloride and acetic anhydride. Monosaccharide derivatives were analysed by a GCMS method. The results indicate that the monosaccharides composition of TGP are rhamnose, arabinose, xylose, mannose, glucose, galatose. Meanwhile, the ionization mechanism of monosaccharide derivative in mass spectrometry measurement was discussed first time.
