Abstract:Objective:To investigate the Clinical effect of restoration using high-strength fiber and resin binder on fractured porcelain restorations. Method:44 cases who underwent intraoral restorations using high-strength fiber and resin binder for fractured anterior and premolar porcelain crowns in Shanghai Stomatology Disease Centre from Jan 2012 to Dec 2013 were enrolled in this study and follow-up observations from 6 month to 2 years were implemented. Result:After the restorations to 40 cases,achieved ideal clinical results without loosening,loss or discoloration of prosthesis. The Success rate was 90.9%. Conclusion:Under the precondition of appropriate selection of indication, the intraoral restoration using high-strength fiber and resin binder for fractured porcelain crown is convenient, economical and worthy of clinical application.
