Abstract:To meet enterprise-class application, the paper constructs a general distributed value-added logistics services platform for real-time tracking and querying the goods during storage and shipping process. Based on RFID, GPS and GSM/GPRS to improve storage and transport efficiency, the whole project consists of vehicle-mounted terminals, control center, and warehouse management system. Focused on the onboard system, architecture design and software implementation of terminals are given. The result shows that the system can provide some references for addressing the transparency of the third party logistics and efficient collaboration.

Abstract:To reuse enterprise components as much as possible in the enterprise-level applications, a novel enterprise-level application framework-PBE-based on Struts framework, Fa?ade design pattern and Java dynamic proxy mechanism is presented. PBE decouples the enterprise components and applications and provides high level reusability. The practice shows the usage of PBE has greatly improved development efficiency, the maintainability of the software and the common usage of enterprise services.

Abstract:In order to solve the seamless connection of various information platforms during enterprises' integration, a new solution based on Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) framework was designed for enterprise synthetic integration application. The solution adopted the Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) technology and Component-Designed scheme to help enterprises achieve flexible configuration according to their requirements. The data could be commuted among schemes and the legacy or new system via eXtensible Markup Language (XML) Engine. The view layer was characterized by friendly user interface and convenient-operation through using the Java Server Pages (JSP) technology. The system could quickly deal with large amount of data because of the design was based on the plant data model core. All new features of the solution were validated in an application practice.

Abstract:Workflow systems now face a difficulty that most Workflow Management Systems (WfMS) only support few enterprises' existing applications and this problem has been the supreme bottleneck. Without uniform standard of integration, deployments of WfMS must be limited by exterior applications. So bringing a new application-independent integration framework forward becomes an urgent affair of WfMS. This paper imports Web Service and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) into the reference model of WfMC and introduces our extended workflow model which can support Web Service and other heterogeneous applications. A WfMS prototype based on the extended workflow model and its deployment into the Management Information System of a virtual enterprise are also presented.

Abstract:Web service is becoming an important approach for enterprises to implement their business applications on Internet. However, most of Web services are built based on special business function, they are isolated and do not address the information communication for integrating the business processes. In this paper, we propose a new composition framework, which comprises the Web-based semantic definition for business messages, the methodology of constructing visualized integrated processes based on Business Process Execution Language (BPEL), and the strategy of vocabulary-based business rules for e-business. Abstract:Developing collaborative applications presents a challenge in solving the communication and synchronization problems. In this paper, we introduce a framework created to assist the developers. The framework takes the advantage of the Access Grid (AG) components, Venue Server, Venue Client and Event Channel, aiming to build a collaborative environment. In addition, the framework contains two user interface components, a wizard providing an interface to import new applications, and a main frame listing all the applications developed upon the framework. For a testing task, we implemented some collaborative applications using this framework. And the examples demonstrate that the framework enables the users to develop collaborative applications conveniently and efficiently.

Abstract:In order to tackle the chaos in current small ISV development and help the developer achieve architectural reuse,an enterprise application development framework based on smart client is designed,which supports one-touch code generation and rapid development with auxiliary tool,encapsulating a series of design patterns and business logic,especially domain-specific business logic and infrastructure for developers,along with support for third party component.Developing based on this framework will benefit from simpler development process,shorter development cycle,higher software reuse rate and higher quality.

A PageFlow Model-Driven Web Application Framework

Abstract:As the business requirements are growing more and more extensive,the complexity of building large-scale Web application has become higher and higher.Web application framework reduces the difficulty for application developer.However,most of Web application frameworks at present only define a clear-hierarchy and specific-allocation programming model.It still needs a lot of programming handwork to implement this model.And the XML mapping file describing page flow is always too redundant to maintain.Considering these problems,a framework for efficient production of Web applications is provided in this paper,which is PageFlow model-driven framework.It regards the design of PageFlow model as the core of the subject,and customs business process of application according to requirements analysis.Moreover,a Web application development tool PFlowWeb is given to support the framework.It provides a visual editor PFlowEditor for designing PageFlow model,and code generator WebGen to complete the generation of Web application framework components specified by user.Finally,a Web based file system developed with our framework and tool kit is discussed.The initial experience with this system indicates that this framework and related tools can provide dramatic improvements in development efficiency and system expansibility.

Abstract:In the process of enterprise informatization, mass of legacy systems (such as database and applications) need integration, different application systems (PDM, ERP, SCM, CRM) need interaction and business between enterprises demand close cooperation. Took enterprise business cooperation as object, aimed at heterogeneous system integration, this paper proposed a framework for business cooperation-oriented heterogeneous system integration, and analyzed key technologies related to the framework, such as ontology modeling, ontology mapping, and semantic interoperation mechanism. Finally, the realization of the business cooperation framework was discussed. As a proof of concept, a prototypical platform based on this framework was developed, and the operating principle of the platform was analyzed. The proposed scheme has great theoretical significance which provides a new architecture and approach for heterogeneous system integration on business cooperation.

Abstract:The growing scale and complexity of the enterprise computing systems under distributed and heterogeneous environments present new challenges to system development, integration, and maintenance. In this paper, we present a model driven Web service development framework to combat these challenges. The framework capitalizes on the unified modeling language (UML) profile for enterprise distributed object computing (EDOC), MDA (model-driven architecture) and Web services. Within the framework, firstly, a general PIM (platform independent models) is created using the EDOC CCA structural specification and CCA choreography specification which defines the general functions of a system. Secondly, the general PIM is broken down into sub-PIMs according to functional decomposition, each of which can provide service independently and will be implemented in a Web service. Thirdly, all of the PIMs are transformed to Web service interface models for publication and invoking. Afterward, transform each PIM to a BPEL specified Web service orchestration model. Finally, supported by model transform techniques, the sub EDOC PIMs are implemented into Web services on specific platforms. Automatic model transformation is the key to this framework, therefore, the transformation from EDOC CCA models to WSDL specified Web service interface models and the transformation from EDOC CCA models to BPEL specified Web service orchestration models are deeply discussed, and the detailed transformation rules are proposed. A case study is also provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of these rules and the merits of this framework.

Abstract:To implement advanced manufacturing technologies in enterprises, it is necessary to realize process management in the computer aided process planning(CAPP) system. Based on workflow management and software agent technology, a process workflow system is designed that is used to support process management. After the analysis of the workflow of process planning, a formal workflow model is built. An agent model composed of process model, intention model, skill model and companion model is also put forward to implement workflow management. A nested agent federation is constructed to enhance system flexibility. The key technologies of the system were realized in GS-CAPP and good results were achieved.
