Clinical Observation on ~(99)Tc-Mdp in 67 Patients with Bone Metastases

Abstract:The objective of this work was to study the clinical effect of 99Tc-MDP on bone metastasis. 99Tc-MDP 200 mg was dissolved in 0.9% NS 250-500 mL and venous drip for 3 hours in 67 patients with bone metastasis for continuous 5 days, then the drip treatment was repeated after one or two weeks for 5 days.The clinical efficacy was observed on pain degree, active efficacy and some other test indices.The results showed the total remission rate of pain was 82%(55/67),and 72%(18/25) of action was improved and average sustainable time in pain remission was about one month. The initial result indicated that 99Tc-MDP could remit the pain in bone metastasis event and improve the physical action as well as the quality of life. Chin J Cancer Prev Treat,2004,11(10):1097-1098
