The Data Modeling Technology and Its Application of Comprehensive Query and Analysis System in Enterprises

Abstract:The comprehensive query and analysis system of enterprises is an important part of management information system. One of the key technologies for building comprehensive query and analysis system of enterprises is the data modeling technology. For this purpose, a method of the data modeling for comprehensive query and analysis system of enterprises is presented based on data warehouse. It includes four aspects that are the demand analysis of the data modeling, the data conceptual modeling, the data logistic modeling and the data physical modeling. The above method has been successfully applied in the CIMS application project of an enterprise, and its result has showed the validity of this method. 1 引言 企业综合信息查询与分析系统是企业管理信息系统的核心,也是计算机集成制造系统(CIMS)的重要组成部分。它将企业中各业务子系统的信息集中,辅助高层管理者进行决策。 目前,国外应用计算机进行辅助决策分析的研究已经在企业中应用,很多软件公司也提供了计算机综合查询的商品化软件,如BUSINESS OBJECT推出的智能决策支持系统工具BUSINESS OBJECT 4.0,SAS公司的SAS分析软件。 国内,很多企业在进行信息化的过程中也开始规划和实施综合查询与分析系统,并取得了一定的成果。如宝钢应用SAS软件建立的综合信息查询与分析系统实现了对生产管理辅助决策。但目前国内企业在进行信息化的过程中,大多还处于分散式信息查询系统阶段,即把对信息的查询放置在各业务端,而作为企业的高层管理者却难以及时得到企业的实时经营数据进行辅助决策,特别是对于拥有大量操作型数据的企业,这个问题更为突出。
