Abstract:Controller Area Network (CAN) plays an important role in vehicle chassis control system, hence the reliability of CAN network relates to driving performance and even passenger safety. However, intermittent connection (IC) faults, including intermittent open connection (IOC) and intermittent short connection (ISC), can potentially affect the performance of the vehicle CAN network. In this work, a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) real-time simulation platform for the in-vehicle CAN system is constructed, and the effects of IC faults on the system are studied. First, based on the virtualized vehicle dynamics model and the actual bus hardware, the HIL platform of the vehicle CAN system is built. Then, typical connectivity problems such as IOC and ISC faults are emulated on the vehicle chassis CAN system. Finally, the influence law of different electrical character (type, frequency, and intensity) of IC faults on the vehicle speed control performance is analyzed. The results demonstrate the varying performance of CAN-based control systems in terms of signal delay, control performance, system stability, and tolerable fault intensity in the presence of IC faults with different electrical characteristics.

Abstract:In order to solve the problem of inconvenience in network construction, short transmission distance of RS232 and non-intelligence audio device with different interface for network, this paper presented a design of the audio intelligent control network based on CAN(Controller Area Network)-Bus. The topology of audio control network, structured models of ICANNet and hardware are firstly discussed. Then the protocol of transport layer and application layer and software of intelligent control network is studied. Finally the test results were given to demonstrate the feasibility and reliability of the design.

Abstract:A real - time fuzzy control algorithm is presented in this paper, and the realization way for a class of motion control systems is analyzed; then the fuzzy motion control system based on CAN field bus is implemented. Both the overall architecture of the system and the design of field motion controller are proposed here. The experiments results show that the proposed fuzzy control system has better performance in the rapid response real - time and precision and is useful in motion control system.

Abstract:Based on the reality of compressed roast house built together at present, the node of tobacco leaf roasting savory temperature humidity control based on CAN bus was designed. Using bus technology, it can convey data between node and top machine, control center can monitor every node in time. In connection with different require of temperature and humidity of five roast period during tobacco leaf roasting, CAN node use Fuzzy_PID technology, decrease difference in temperature between roast house top and bottom, achieve fundamental leveling of temperature through adjusting rotate speed of axle flow draught fan, the node can achieve heating up and steadying temperature through controlling oxygen quantity of coal burning by adjusting rotate speed of oxygen fan, the node can keep humidity smooth in roast house by controlling quantity of air entering roast house.

Abstract:Along with the development of bus technology,CAN bus,as one of typical field buses,has already been in widespread use.In order to fulfill the request of safety as well as reliability in stress test towards CAN nodes,a design is given in this paper whose key point is a real-time data transfer transponder with double channel CAN bus and USB 2.0 port.The receive and dispatch process of CAN data and real time data transfer process among host machines are implemented by a MCU of high performance to detect the management performance as well as design surplus in transferring data among CAN nodes under test.Continuous receive and dispatch process about CAN frames has been fulfilled by the transponder,and the frame gap can be controlled strictly in dozens of micro-seconds.Together with test software in host machine,strength and performance test about CAN bus can be done.Moreover,if analysis software of host machine is properly configurated,this transponder can be treated as protocol analysis instrument of CAN double bus,and power supply with USB port is quite convenient and portable as well.

Abstract:For the problem data transmission of CAN bus between baud rate and transmission distance,a solution was introduced,which mainly uses the parallel repeaters with the technique of data shunting,and the demonstrability of the solution was made from theory and experiment.The result indicates that the solution has reasonable software and hardware,strong ability,can meet the need of real-time,and can be realized easily.The solution also can be used in other real-time CAN system.

Abstract:Controller area network (CAN) is the most widely adopted network protocol in vehicle communication systems. The intermittent connection (IC) fault, a random cable connectivity problem with short durations, occurring in the CAN network may result in system performance degradation and system level failures in severe cases. Therefore, the health management of CAN-based networked systems demands effective detection and accurate localization of the IC fault. However, the diagnosis of IC fault in CAN network has not been fully exploited. This paper proposes a novel tree-based IC fault diagnosis method to identify the various IC fault locations in the CAN network. First, the error event pairs for network nodes are defined by analyzing the data-link layer information upon each error. Then, the domains of error event pairs and the information cost of IC faults included in the domains are derived. Finally, a tree-based minimal cost diagnosis algorithm is proposed to find the locations of the IC faults. Laboratory testbed is constructed and the case studies are conducted to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method. The results show that IC fault identified by the proposed method agree well with the case study setups.

Abstract:CAN-bus is a typical bus control technology, and is now widely applied in many areas.In view of the characteristics of the electric vehicle body, this paper puts forward a plan that applies CAN-bus technology to build electric vehicle body network. In terms of the electric vehicle body system, it needs to resolve several issues: One is to simplify electronic wiring harness as far as possible, and the other is to ensure the normal data communications. In this article, the body electrical is divided into different nodes in accordance with the principles of proximity, each node controls a certain area of electrical equipment, and at the same time, communicates with other nodes through CAN bus. CAN bus used SAE1939 agreement and defined message through this agreement. Each body node of the circuit includes main circuit board and extended board. The main circuit can achieve the requirements of data communications; the extended board can achieve the expansion of body electrical. The circuits are divided into several modules in application with circuit modular design approach. Every module was respectively developed by embedded software system through some software development tools, at the same time, tested the entire body CAN network communications systems. After the test, the entire body of communications network can meet the requirements.

Abstract:An upper computer system of high-end loom machine based on ARM and CAN bus communication which embedded Linux system was designed to realize the effective control of intelligent loom machine.The hardware platform was mainly built using embedded microprocessor based on AT91SAM9261 kernel of Atmel company and CAN bus controller MCP2515 of Microchip.The software design was implemented in the Linux system including GUI application design and CAN bus device driver realization.Debugging results show that this system works stably and fast,and it can satisfy the control of loom machine system.

Abstract:<Abstrcat> A data sample system based on CAN bus of tractor test bench was introduced in this paper. Some (problems) of traditional test bench were solved, such as complex in setting wire, low level of reliability, unfit for connection to net. This system consists of five CAN nodes, each of them can finish the correlative test and send the data to main PC. The main PC communicates with the CAN nodes through PC-CAN adapter. Hardware and software design for the CAN nodes and PC-CAN adapter and system debugging were finished in this project.

Abstract:To solve the deficiency existing in the original on-board measurement system of a test vehicle,a new on-board measurement system is presented based on CAN bus.By analyzing the existing CAN bus application level protocol of the test vehicle,CAN bus application level protocol of a new on-board measurement system is obtained from test,and relevant interface circuit is implemented.The designed measurement system fully utilizes the existing CAN bus signal of the test vehicle and uses CANcardXL data acquisition card and CANoe software to realize in-phase data acquisition of the test vehicle and the exterior CAN bus.Validity of the new measurement system is proved by road test.

Abstract:Aiming at the features of data arm,i.e.multiple motor driving and multiple sensor information acquisition,the communication strategy based on CAN bus for data arm is proposed.Through CAN bus,the measured and controlled joint nodes of slave computers and the host computer are connected for implementing distributed measurement and control.On this basis,the CAN bus protocol suitable for data arm communication with modular structure is established to coordinate the information streams on the bus and reduces the time required for bus conflict arbitration.The system features highly precise data transmission,excellent real-time performance,stable operation,and easy connection.It meets the requirements of data arm upon real-time performance and reliability,etc.

Abstract:The realistic status of data arm communication system is analysed in this paper. A data arm communication scheme based on CAN bus is proposed. The hardware and software structure of the the data arm communication scheme is introduced. On the basis, the CAN bus protocol is established to coordinate the bus information flows, reduce the time required for bus conflict arbitration. Abstract:According to the communication and control requirement of multi-channel Control Area Network(CAN) bus by the HLA simulation platform, this paper described a embedded PowerPC system based method of design and implementation of multi-channel CAN communication platform. The corresponding Linux multi-channel CAN device driver has also been developed. This flexible system can connect to different number of CAN daughter boards.
