Abstract:Professor ZHENG Qing-lian thinks that deficiency of kidney essence, liver depression, blood stasis and sputum blockage are the pathogenesis of premature ovarian failure. The coordination of liver ruling smooth qi low and kidney storing possession is the physiological basis of the regular menstrual cycle. Normal discharge of ova by the transforming of yin to yang, menses start by transforming of yang to yin, these are two key points when the conversion of the menstrual cycle during the growth and decline of yin and yang. According to the pathogenesis and clinical features of premature ovarian function, he develops a two-stage and three-period therapy method(menstruation period, late menstruation period, premenstrual period). Regulating liver and tonifying kidney based on the menstrual cycle is a useful method in treating premature ovarian failure. It achieves a satisfactory clinical ei cacy.
