Design and implementation of an integrated CAE system for plastic injection moluding

Abstract:The system analysis and design of CAE software for plastic injection moulding, including functions definition, modularization, component and class designs, were discussed by using object-oriented methods and technologies. Key technologies of CAE, such as mesh generation, graphics base, data access, and numerical simulation technology, were also dealt with. An integrated simulation system available for selling, HsCAE, is developed. Finally, simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of this system.
