Abstract:We obtain a new criterion for the boundedness and compactness of the weighted composition operators psi C-phi from B-alpha (0 < alpha < 1) to B-beta in terms of the sequence {psi phi(n)}. An estimate for the essential norm of psi C-phi is also given.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the local approximation by Baskakov-Durrmeyer operators. The continuous functions of local Lipschitz-alpha (0<alpha<1) on any subset. of [0, infinity) are characterized by the local rate of convergence of Baskakov-Durrmeyer operators. The main difference between these operators and their classical and Kantorovich-variants respectively is that they have commutativity, which is crucial for our purpose. (C) 1997 Academic Press.

Abstract:Let $\psi \in H(\BB_n),$ the space of all holomorphic functions on the unit ball $\BB_n$ of $\C^n,$ $\varphi = (\varphi_1, \ldots, \varphi_n) \in S(\BB_n)$ the set of holomorphic self-maps of $\BB_n.$ Let $C_{\psi, \varphi}: \mathcal B_{\nu}$ (and $ \mathcal B_{\nu,0}$) $\to \mathcal B_{\mu} $ (and $ \mathcal B_{\mu,0}$) be weighted extended Ces\`aro operators induced by products of the extended Ces\`aro operator $ C_\varphi $ and integral operator $T_\psi.$ In this paper, we characterize the boundedness and compactness of $ C_{\psi,\varphi} $ via the estimates for either $ |\varphi| $ or $ |\varphi_k| $ \textit{for some $ k\in \{1,\ldots,n\}. $} At the same time, we also give the asymptotic estimates of the norms of these operators.

Abstract:Let $\varphi_{1}$ and $\varphi_{2}$ be holomorphic self-maps of the open unit ball $\mathbb B$ in $\mathbb C^N$, $u_{1}$ and $u_{2}$ be holomorphic functions on $\mathbb B$ and let weighted composition operators $W_{\varphi_{1},u_{1}}$; $W_{\varphi_{2},u_{2}}: A^{p}_{\alpha} \to H^{\infty}_{v}$ be bounded. This paper characterizes the compactness of the difference of these operators from the weighted Bergman space $A^p_\alpha$, $0-1$, to the weighted-type space $H^\infty_v$ of holomorphic functions on $\mathbb B$ in terms of inducing symbols $\varphi_{1}$, $\varphi_{2}$, $u_{1}$ and $u_{2}$. For the case $p \gt 1$ we find an asymptotically equivalent expression to the essential norm of the operator.
A class of Berezin-type operators on weighted Fock spaces with $A_{\infty}$-type weights

Abstract:Let $0<\alpha,\beta,t<\infty$ and $\mu$ be a positive Borel measure on $\mathbb{C}^n$. We consider the Berezin-type operator $S^{t,\alpha,\beta}_{\mu}$ defined by $$S^{t,\alpha,\beta}_{\mu}f(z):=\left(\int_{\mathbb{C}^n}e^{-\frac{\beta}{2}|z-u|^2}|f(u)|^te^{-\frac{\alpha t}{2}|u|^2}d\mu(u)\right)^{1/t},\quad z\in\mathbb{C}^n.$$ We completely characterize the boundedness and compactness of $S^{t,\alpha,\beta}_{\mu}$ from the weighted Fock space $F^p_{\alpha,w}$ into the Lebesgue space $L^q(wdv)$ for all possible indices, where $w$ is a weight on $\mathbb{C}^n$ that satisfies an $A_{\infty}$-type condition. This solves an open problem raised by Zhou, Zhao and Tang [Banach J. Math. Anal. 18 (2024), Paper No. 20]. As an application, we obtain the description of the boundedness and compactness of Toeplitz-type operators acting between weighted Fock spaces induced by $A_{\infty}$-type weights.

Abstract:In this paper, we study composition operators on weighted Bergman spaces of Dirichlet series. We first establish some Littlewood-type inequalities for generalized mean counting functions. Then we give sufficient conditions for a composition operator with zero characteristic to be bounded or compact on weighted Bergman spaces of Dirichlet series. The corresponding sufficient condition for compactness in the case of positive characteristics is also obtained.

Abstract:Suppose $n\geq 3$ and let $B$ be the open unit ball in $\mathbb{R}^n$. Let $\varphi: B\to B$ be a $C^2$ map whose Jacobian does not change sign, and let $\psi$ be a $C^2$ function on $B$. We characterize bounded weighted composition operators $W_{\varphi,\psi}$ acting on harmonic Hardy spaces $h^p(B)$. In addition, we compute the operator norm of $W_{\varphi,\psi}$ on $h^p(B)$ when $\varphi$ is a Möbius transformation of $B$.

Abstract:In this research article the necessary and sufficient conditions for the norm of composition operator $C_{\Phi}$ on $\mathcal{A}_{\alpha}^2(H)$ to be one are obtained. Moreover, $C_{\Phi}$ is unitary on $\mathcal{A}_{\alpha}^2(H)$ if and only if it is co-isometry. The necessary and sufficient condition for Hermitian and normal composition operators on $\mathcal{A}_{\alpha}^2(H)$ are also explored. Also, the characterization for boundeness of generalized weighted composition operator is obtained under some condition on $\Phi.$

Abstract:We first consider some questions raised by N. Zorboska in her thesis. In particular she asked for which sequences $\beta$ every symbol $\varphi \colon \mathbb{D} \to \mathbb{D}$ with $\varphi \in H^2 (\beta)$ induces a bounded composition operator $C_\phi$ on the weighted Hardy space $H^2 (\beta)$. We give partial answers and investigate when $H^2 (\beta)$ is an algebra. We answer negatively another question in showing that there are a sequence $\beta$ and $\varphi \in H^2 (\beta)$ such that $\| \varphi \|_\infty < 1$ and the composition operator $C_\varphi$ is not bounded on $H^2 (\beta)$. In a second part, we show that for $p \neq 2$, no automorphism of $\mathbb{D}$, except those that fix $0$, induces a bounded composition operator on the Beurling-Sobolev space $\ell^p_A$, and even on any weighted version of this space.

Abstract:We characterize those pairs $(\psi,\varphi)$ of smooth mappings $\psi:\mathbb{R}^d\rightarrow\mathbb{C},\varphi:\mathbb{R}^d\rightarrow\mathbb{R}^d$ for which the corresponding weighted composition operator $C_{\psi,\varphi}f=\psi\cdot(f\circ\varphi)$ acts continuously on $\mathscr{S}(\mathbb{R}^d)$. Additionally, we give several easy-to-check necessary and sufficient conditions of this property for interesting special cases. Moreover, we characterize power boundedness and topologizablity of $C_{\psi,\varphi}$ on $\mathscr{S}(\mathbb{R}^d)$ in terms of $\psi,\varphi$. Among other things, as an application of our results we show that for a univariate polynomial $\varphi$ with $\text{deg}(\varphi)\geq 2$, power boundedness of $C_{\psi,\varphi}$ on $\mathscr{S}(\mathbb{R})$ for every $\psi\in\mathscr{O}_M(\mathbb{R})$ only depends on $\varphi$ and that in this case power boundedness of $C_{\psi,\varphi}$ is equivalent to $(C_{\psi,\varphi}^n)_{n\in\mathbb{N}}$ converging to $0$ in $\mathcal{L}_b(\mathscr{S}(\mathbb{R}))$ as well as to the uniform mean ergodicity of $C_{\psi,\varphi}$. Additionally, we give an example of a power bounded and uniformly mean ergodic weighted composition operator $C_{\psi,\varphi}$ on $\mathscr{S}(\mathbb{R})$ for which neither the multiplication operator $f\mapsto \psi f$ nor the composition operator $f\mapsto f\circ\varphi$ acts on $\mathscr{S}(\mathbb{R})$. Our results complement and considerably extend various results of Fernández, Galbis, and the second named author.

The critical norm is on the open unit disk. We first give necessary and sufficient conditions where the composition operator between BHλ and ZHβ is bounded. Secondly, we will study the compactness case of the composition operator between BHλ and ZHβ . Finally, we will estimate the essential norms of the composition operator between BHλ and ZHβ .

Abstract:We consider weighted composition operators, that is operators of the type , acting on spaces of Lipschitz functions. Bounded weighted composition operators, as well as some compact weighted composition operators, have been characterized quite recently. In this paper, we provide a different approach involving their pre-adjoint operators, namely the weighted Lipschitz operators acting on Lipschitz free spaces. This angle allows us to retrieve and sometimes improve some results from the literature. Notably, we obtain a distinct characterization of boundedness with a precise estimate of the norm. We also characterise injectivity, surjectivity, compactness and weak compactness in full generality.

Abstract:We give a complete characterization of the sequences $\beta = (\beta_n)$ of positive numbers for which all composition operators on $H^2 (\beta)$ are bounded, where $H^2 (\beta)$ is the space of analytic functions $f$ on the unit disk ${\mathbb D}$ such that $\sum_{n = 0}^\infty |a_n|^2 \beta_n < + \infty$ if $f (z) = \sum_{n = 0}^\infty a_n z^n$. We prove that all composition operators are bounded on $H^2 (\beta)$ if and only if $\beta$ is essentially decreasing and slowly oscillating. We also prove that every automorphism of the unit disk induces a bounded composition operator on $H^2 (\beta)$ if and only if $\beta$ is slowly oscillating. We give applications of our results.
