Abstract:We study both Morita cancellative and skew cancellative properties of noncommutative algebras as initiated recently in several papers and explore that which classes of noncommutative algebras are Morita cancellative (respectively, skew cancellative). Several new results concerning these two types of cancellations, as well as the classical cancellation, are proved.

Abstract:Let $a(n)$ be the $n$-th Dirichlet coefficient of the automorphic $L$-function or the Rankin--Selberg $L$-function. We investigate the cancellation of $a(n)$ over specific sequences linked to the Waring--Goldbach problem, by establishing a nontrivial bound for the additive twisted sums over primes on ${\mathrm{GL}}_m$ and ${\mathrm{GL}}_m\times{\mathrm{GL}}_m .$ The bound does not depend on the generalized Ramanujan conjecture or the nonexistence of Landau--Siegel zeros. Furthermore, we present an application associated with the Sato--Tate conjecture and propose a conjecture about Goldbach's conjecture on average bound.

Abstract:Dumortier and Roussarie proposed a conjecture in their paper (2009, Discrete Con. Dyn. Sys., 2,723-781): For any \begin{document}$ q\in {\mathbb{N}} $\end{document} , the Abelian integrals \begin{document}$ J_{2j+1}(h) = \int_{\gamma_h}x^{2j-1}\,\mathrm dy $\end{document} , \begin{document}$ j = 0, 1, 2, \cdots, q $\end{document} , form a strict Chebyshev system on intervals \begin{document}$ h\in (0, \frac{1}{2}] $\end{document} , where \begin{document}$ \gamma_h = \{(x, y)| \mathrm e^{-2y}(y+\frac{1}{2}-x^2) = h\} $\end{document} . If this conjecture holds, then they obtain the precise upper bound of the number of limit cycles that appear near a slow-fast Hopf point of any codimension. In the present paper we develop a method to estimate the number of zeros of Abelian integrals and prove this conjecture.
Morita equivalence problem for symplectic reflection algebras

Abstract:In this paper we fully solve the Morita equivalence problem for symplectic reflection algebras associated to direct products of finite subgroups of $SL_2(\mathbb{C})$. Namely, given a pair of such symplectic reflection algebras $H_c, H_{c'}$,then $H_c$ is Morita equivalent to $H_c'$ if and only if they are related by a standard Morita equivalence. We also establish new cases for Morita classification problem for type A rational Cherednik algebras. Our approach crucially relies on the reduction modulo large primes.

Abstract:In this paper, over a field of positive characteristic we exhibit an infinite family of counter examples to the Zariski Cancellation Problem in higher dimensions ($\geqslant 3$) which are pairwise non-isomorphic and also non-isomorphic to the existing family of counter examples, demonstrated by Gupta in \cite{adv}.

Abstract:It is shown that n-stable range conditions over exchange rings can be inherited by general contexts. By introducing strongly separative modules, the authors extend this result to strongly separative rings. These provide new classes of exchange rings with cancellations of modules.
The cancellation property for projective modules over integral group rings

Abstract:We obtain a partial classification of the finite groups $G$ for which the integral group ring $\mathbb{Z} G$ has projective cancellation, i.e. for which $P \oplus \mathbb{Z} G \cong Q \oplus \mathbb{Z} G$ implies $P \cong Q$ for projective $\mathbb{Z} G$-modules $P$ and $Q$. To do this, we prove a cancellation theorem based on a relative version of the Eichler condition and use it to establish the cancellation property for a large class of finite groups. We then use a group theoretic argument to precisely determine the class of groups not covered by this result. The final classification is then obtained by applying results of Swan, Chen and Bley-Hofmann-Johnston which show failure of the cancellation property for certain groups.

Abstract:We study Morita theory of Azumaya algebras on root gerbes $\mathscr{X}$. There, we find explicit equivalent conditions for Morita equivalence. During this study, we find examples of a decomposable category become indecomposable after a Brauer twist.

Necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for a general Morita context or a trivial Morita context or a formal triangular matrix ring to satisfy a certain ring property which is among being Kasch, completely primary, quasi-duo, 2-primal, NI, semiprimitive, projective-free, etc. We also characterize when a general Morita context is weakly principally quasi-Baer or strongly right mininjective.

Abstract:The aim of this article is to study some invariants of associative algebras under stable equivalences of Morita type. First of all, we show that, if two finite-dimensional self-injective k-algebras are stably equivalent of Morita type, then their orbit algebras are isomorphic. Secondly, it is verified that the quasitilted property of an algebra is invariant under stable equivalences of Morita type. As an application of this result, it is obtained that if an algebra is of finite representation type, then its tilted property is invariant under stable equivalences of Morita type; the other application to partial tilting modules is given in Section 4. Finally, we prove that when two finite-dimensional k-algebras are stably equivalent of Morita type, their repetitive algebras are also stably equivalent of Morita type under certain conditions.

Abstract:Journal of Algebra and Its Applications, Ahead of Print. The Morita equivalences of classical Brauer algebras and classical Birman–Murakami–Wenzl (BMW) algebras have been well studied. Here, we study the Morita equivalence problems on these two kinds of algebras of simply-laced type, especially for them with the generic parameters. We show that Brauer algebras and BMW algebras of simply-laced type are Morita equivalent to the direct sums of some group algebras of Coxeter groups and some Hecke algebras of Coxeter groups, respectively.

Abstract:We extend a theorem of Kessar and Linckelmann concerning Morita equivalences and Galois compatible bijections between Brauer characters to virtual Morita equivalences. As a corollary, we obtain that the block version of Navarro's refinement of Alperin's weight conjecture holds for blocks with cyclic and Klein four defect groups, blocks of symmetric and alternating groups with abelian defect groups, and p -Blocks of and , where p | q .

Abstract:The theory of small cancellation groups is well known. In this paper we introduce the notion of Group-like Small Cancellation Ring. This is the main result of the paper. We define this ring axiomatically, by generators and defining relations. The relations must satisfy three types of axioms. The major one among them is called the Small Cancellation Axiom. We show that the obtained ring is non-trivial. Moreover, we show that this ring enjoys a global filtration that agrees with relations, find a basis of the ring as a vector space and establish the corresponding structure theorems. It turns out that the defined ring possesses a kind of Gröbner basis and a greedy algorithm. Finally, this ring can be used as a first step towards the iterated small cancellation theory which hopefully plays a similar role in constructing examples of rings with exotic properties as small cancellation groups do in group theory. Abstract:We perform a bordism computation to show that the U-duality symmetry of 4d supergravity could have an anomaly invisible to perturbative methods; then we show that this anomaly is trivial. We compute the relevant bordism group using the Adams and Atiyah–Hirzebruch spectral sequences, and we show the anomaly vanishes by computing -invariants on the Wu manifold, which generates the bordism group.

Abstract:Levels of cancellativity in commutative monoids $M$, determined by stable rank values in $\mathbb{Z}_{> 0} \cup \{\infty\}$ for elements of $M$, are investigated. The behavior of the stable ranks of multiples $ka$, for $k \in \mathbb{Z}_{> 0}$ and $a \in M$, is determined. In the case of a refinement monoid $M$, the possible stable rank values in archimedean components of $M$ are pinned down. Finally, stable rank in monoids built from isomorphism or other equivalence classes of modules over a ring is discussed.

Abstract:We construct a correspondence between Mori dream regions arising from small modifications of normal projective varieties and $\mathbb{C}^*$-actions on polarized pairs which are bordisms. Moreover, we show that the Mori dream regions constructed in this way admit a chamber decomposition on which the models are the geometric quotients of the $\mathbb{C}^*$-action. In addition we construct, from a given $\mathbb{C}^*$-action on a polarized pair for which there exist at least two admissible geometric quotients, a $\mathbb{C}^*$-equivariantly birational $\mathbb{C}^*$-variety, whose induced action is a bordism, called the pruning of the variety.
