Selection and evaluation of digestive tract reconstruction after laparoscopic total gastrectomy for gastric cancer

Abstract:The incidence of proximal gastric cancer is increasing as well as the proportion of laparoscopic total gastrectomy performed in China. However,digestive tract reconstruction after laparoscopic total gastrectomy is still one of difficult problems. In this article,we have introduced and evaluated the procedures of digestive tract reconstruction after laparoscopic total gastrectomy. Nowadays,there are still many issues that need to be solved in digestive tract reconstruction after laparoscopic total gastrectomy. Well-designed and high quality randomized controlled trials( RCTs) are required to explore these issues further.
