Abstract:Hydrogen production from organic wastewaters through anaerobic fermentation(AF) and its industrialization have been extensively studied by researchers worldwide. In this paper,the AF biological principles and the tracks of AF hydrogen production are discussed,and the influencing factors are analyzed including the abilities of hydrogen production by different bacteria,the potential hydrogen production of the different medium and the different external environments. The related mathematical models are described. The main associated problems and research prospects are put forward.
