Abstract:Chitosan is the N-deacetylated derivative of chitin. It has excellent properties such as: biocompatibility, biodegraded, non-toxicity, adsorption properties, etc,so chitosan is an ideal candidate for controlled drug release formulations. The preparation and applications in drug control releasing of chitosan bead, chitosan nanoparticels, chitosan membrane and chitosan hydrogel are introduced.
