Retrospection on Regional Industrial Clustering under Global Perspective

Abstract:Although a widely recognized strategy for regional development, industry clustering has its own shortcomings in nature. After a compare between industry clustering and traditional regional development policies, the paper makes a discussion on the shortcomings of industry clustering and points out disadvantage edge in knowledge resources and local network failures. Also, based on a global perspective, the papers listed four difficulties and give its peliey suggestions.
