Abstract:With the increasingly popularized operation of computer, visual display terminal(VDT) syndrome caused by the terminal operation has become a critical health-threatening issue. VDT syndrome can not only result in some eyes symptoms, but also lead to different abnormalities of the whole body. Previous researches reported that the occurrence of VDT syndrome was the effects of multi-factor. A good lighting condition and air quality can decrease the morbidity of VDT syndrome, besides, establishing a suitable break plan, matching the corresponding VDT device and maintaining a healthy mental status were all effective methods to prevent VDT syndrome. Drug therapy was of important significance for maintaining the health of VDT operator and decreased the harm of this disease. Therefore, due to the increasingly serious harm caused by VDT syndrome, it’s an urgent scientific issue to dig the disease deeply and come up with the homologous measurement of prophylaxis and treatment. In the present study, we summarized the harm of VDT syndrome and the improvement of prophylaxis and treatment.
